What are the Disney World Hotel Room Options For A Family Of 5? Fortunately there are many options of hotel rooms which will sleep 5 guests in Walt Disney World ranging from the Value Resorts to the Disney Deluxe Villa Resorts. We have a family of 5 and have stayed in many of the Disney resorts. Here are your options for the larger family at Disney World:
Disney World Hotel Value Resorts For A Family of 5
One of the newest and best value Disney World hotels for up to 6 guests is the Disney Art of Animation Family Suites. This is a very popular resort which offers value for money for a larger family.
The Disney Art of Animation Resort has a choice of themed family suites – Finding Nemo, Disney Pixar Cars and The Lion King.
There are 1,120 family suites in the Art of Animation Resort. Each suite has a kitchenette, 2 bathrooms, a master bedroom and 3 separate sleeping areas. The Kitchenette is functional rather than a place to cook gourmet meals but it does have a sink, microwave, and refrigerator. There is a master bedroom, a sleeper sofa and an innovative desk that converts to a bed. A bonus for families is that the Art of Animation Family Suite has 2 bathrooms.
If you are looking for peace and quiet then the Art of Animation Resort is not for you. The Disney Value resorts are great if you are looking for relatively basic accommodation at an excellent price with excellent theming that only Disney can do. Art of Animation Family Suites start at around $250 per night and go to over $400 per night.
One often overlooked option is Disney’s All-Star Music Resort which also has Family Suites which sleep up to 6 guests. These All- Star Music Resort suites also have a master bedroom, pull out sofas in the living area as well as 2 bathrooms and a basic kitchenette.

Other Options For A Family of 5 at Disney World
Usually it is more cost effective to book a Walt Disney World hotel room which sleeps 5 guests, but you may also want to check how much booking 2 rooms would cost as well. Sometimes, depending upon deals and offers at the time it may be a more cost effective option to book 2 rooms. This also gives the advantage of more space and of course 2 bathrooms. Sometimes connecting rooms are available but these are not guaranteed at the time of booking.
Are you a family of 5 who have stayed at Walt Disney World? Which of the options did you choose?
