20 Songs You Must Add To Your Disney Playlist

Sharing is caring!

Looking for some more songs to put on your Disney playlist? Look no further!

Below are 20 great Disney songs you can put on your playlist. While making the list, I tried to put on some songs that are a little less known, some of which are from instrumental soundtracks.

Also, I try and include sing a long lyrics for these great Disney songs. So no excuse not to join in!

1. Down To Earth – Wall-E

This is the song from the end credits to the Pixar film Wall-E.

This a really beautiful song that feels very “Disney.”

2. I’ll Make A Man Out Of You – Mulan

Not only is this a good song to put on your Disney playlist, but it’s a good one for your gym playlist too.

I’ll be three push-ups in, out of breath, exhausted, completely shattered. Then this song will start playing on my playlist and I’ll get pumped up and proceed to do another sixty push-ups, ninety sit-ups, two hours on the treadmill, a hundred pull-ups, and then a full-on back-flip. It’s that powerful.

3. Heaven’s Light/Hellfire – The Hunchback Of Notre Dame

This probably the darkest Disney song to date. At first, it might not seem very dark, but once you get to the second half of the song where Judge Frollo sings about his longing for Esmerelda, you’ll know exactly what I’m talking about.

4. Stuff We Did – Up

This plays over the scene where Carl Frederickson looks through Ellie’s scrapbook toward the end of the movie. The entire Up soundtrack is worth a listen.

Some other good songs on this album are Married Life, It’s Just A House, and Paradise Found.

5. Nemo Egg (Main Title) – Finding Nemo

This is the main theme for Pixar’s Finding Nemo – and it makes me cry every single time I listen to it…

6. Anyone Can Cook – Ratatouille

Suprised I managed to spell “ratatouille” on the first try. That’s never happened before.

This track is towards the end of the album and plays over Anton Ego’s critique of critics.

7. When She Loved Me – Toy Story 2

The reason I haven’t given away any of my toys.

When She Loved Me is one of those unforgettable songs from the Toy Story movies. So eomtional

8. Boo’s Going HomeMonsters Inc

Since watching Jessie’s backstory in Toy Story 2 and the part in Monsters Inc. where Boo says goodbye to Sulley, I have brought a pack of tissues whenever I go to see a Pixar movie.

I think I used 17 packs at the end of Toy Story 4.

9. This Land – The Lion King

Hans Zimmer, the same composer who wrote the music for Inception, Interstellar and the Pirates of the Caribbean sequels, comes this incredible track from The Lion King.

It plays at the moment when Simba, after years in exile, decides to go back home and face his past mistakes.

10. I Won’t Say (I’m In Love) – Hercules

A short, sweet little song that’s good to sing along to.

11. Día de los Muertos Suite – Coco

A really, really beautiful suite that’s perfect for fans of Coco.

12. Just Around The Riverbend – Pocahontas

It’s no Colors of the Wind, but it’s very, very good.

13. Mother Knows Best (Reprise) – Tangled

I think this one is way better than the other Mother Knows Best song at the beginning of the Tangled movie. The singing and the lyrics are amazing.

Mother Gothel is terrifying in this scene. Her manipulive and cruel nature is on full display here.

14. Jack’s Lament – The Nightmare Before Christmas

My favorite song from The Nightmare Before Christmas. Poor Jack is a good one too.

15. Feed the Birds (Tuppence A Bag) – Mary Poppins

This was Walt Disney’s favorite song, and with good reason. Julie Andrews is perfection.

I like it how it starts small with only some violin accompaniment, then it evolves into a full-blown orchestra with a choir.

This song gives me chills every time I listen to it.

16. Belle Reprise – Beauty and the Beast

Along with Be Our Guest, this is the best song from Beauty and the Beast.

17. Lava – Lava

This song comes from the Pixar short, Lava. I really like the tropical feel to it. Makes me think of good times in Aualani!

This is also a great ukelele song to play along to.

18. Define Dancing – Wall-E

This plays in the part where Wall-E and EVE are dancing around the spaceship’s rockets – which now that I think about it, that sounds like a really bad idea…

19. Rainbow Connection – The Muppets

I always forget the Muppets are Disney. It’s pretty hard to dislike this song.

It’s one of the best Disney songs there is and one of the best banjo songs of all time – although that might be because it is the only good banjo song.

20. Kiss The Girl – The Little Mermaid

Definitely one of the best Disney romance songs.

Which is your favorite Disney movie song?
