Disney Frozen Sing A Long

Exciting news that a Disney Frozen Sing A Long Version is coming to movie theaters on January 31st. Disney’s Frozen movie has been an outstanding success with box office approaching $800 million so far. This new Frozen Sing A Long version will no doubt push that level even higher with movie goers tempted to view the movie for a second time.

Dave Hollis who is The Walt Disney Studios’ Executive Vice President, Theatrical Distribution, said:

“Frozen fans have embraced the film’s original songs and its soundtrack with such passion—there are countless YouTube videos from people singing songs like ‘Let It Go’—we decided to create a version that would celebrate that enthusiasm. It’s a great opportunity for families to get together and have some fun with these songs.”

The Frozen Sing A Long Version will feature the lyrics up on the screen with a bouncing snowflake to help the audience participate. The Frozen music is played many times a day in our house and I know that we are all going to want to see this version too.

We may be tempted to go to the El Capitan Theater in Hollywood as these screenings will include on-stage appearances from Elsa before each showing and there will be snow flurries during the performance. A great feature when it is all sunshine outside!

The Frozen Sing A Long Version will play in 1,000 theaters nationwide so check your local listings to see where it is playing close to you.

We are of course hoping that Disney’s Frozen does well in the Academy Awards in March. Frozen has received 2 Oscar nominations, one for Best Animated Feature and the other for Best Original Song for Let it Go.
