What are the Disney World Ride and Attraction Closures May 2014? If you are visiting Walt Disney World in May 2014 it is always a great idea to know which rides and attractions will be closed during your visit.

Here are the scheduled ride and attraction closures at each Disney World park for May 2014:

Disney’s Magic Kingdom

There are no scheduled ride closures for Magic Kingdom in May.

Epcot

The Disney Frozen Anna and Elsa meet and greet which was located in the Norway Pavilion in Epcot has now moved to New Fantasyland in Magic Kingdom.

Disney’s Animal Kingdom

The Festival of the Lion King show has closed and is due to re open some time in the summer of 2014. No official opening date has been announced. The Lion King attraction is being moved to a new location to make way for the Avatar Land expansion of Disney Animal Kingdom.

Disney’s Hollywood Studios

There are no scheduled closures for Disney Hollywood Studios for May 2014.

Disney’s Golf Courses

Disney’s Magnolia Golf Course and Disney’s Oak Trail Golf Course are closed from 21st May until 4th June 2014.

Disney’s Blizzard Beach and Typhoon Lagoon Water Parks

Both Disney Water Parks are open with no scheduled attraction closures.

These are all the scheduled attraction and ride closures for Disney World in May 2014. Remember that there are always unscheduled, but usually brief closures of rides. Rides such as Test Track at Epcot and Expedition Everest in Disney’s Animal Kingdom often experience closures during the day. Often these only last a short time, but it can be frustrating if you are in line!
