Wouldn’t you just love to know more about Disney’s Polynesian Villas and Bungalows? The Polynesian Villas and Bungalows may just prove to be one of the most popular of the Disney Vacation Club. Not only do they look absolutely beautiful but the location is perfect. The Polynesian Resort Bungalows are literally located right there on the Seven Seas Lagoon.

The first phase of the development is due to open on April 1st 2015.

There will be 20 of the Polynesian Resort Bungalows and each will sleep up to 8 guests.

Here is a video tour of one of the Polynesian Resort Studios

There are going to be 360 Deluxe Studios and each will sleep up to five guests. A unique feature for a Disney Vacation Club property is that each studio can connect to another. This has never been down at a DVC resort before.

Disney Vacation Club Studio

Each Polynesian Villa Studio will have a design which is modeled around the same idea of a Disney cruise line stateroom and The Villas at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. Each Studio has a split bathroom (the concept which was introduced on Disney Cruise Line). Each Studio has one queen-size bed, one queen-size sleeper sofa, and one pull-down bunk-size bed A pull-down armoire bed showcases painted artwork from the popular Disney film, Lilo & Stitch.

The Polynesian Resort Villa Studios are 447 square feet.

Prices will start at $160 per point. If you are a Disney Vacation Club member already you can buy points now, but the general public will have to wait until April

The price of $160 per point is not a surprise and compares favorably with other Disney Vacation Club properties. Disney’s Animal Kingdom Villas are offered at $155 per point and Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Spa Villas are $170 per point.

The Disney Polynesian Villas deluxe studios start at 16 points and rise to 31 points per night for a standard view and range between 20 and 37 points per night for a lake view.

The Polynesian Resort Bora Bora Bungalows will start at 115 and rise to 197 points per night depending on day and date.

The Polynesian Resort Bora Bora Bungalows have two bedrooms, two full bathrooms, a kitchen, washer and dryer, and large dining and living room spaces.

The best feature of the Polynesian Resort Bungalows have to be the private deck with a plunge pool. Imagine sitting in your own private pool watching the Magic Kingdom Fireworks in the evening. They will even pipe the music into your individual villa sound system. And you really can’t get any closer to the Electrical Water Pageant (that most overlooked parade on the Seven Seas Lagoon).

If you are not a Disney Vacation Club Member then you can expect to pay between $2100 and $2900 for a Disney Polynesian Bungalow. Pricey? Yes but it does sleep 8 guests in one of the best locations in Walt Disney World. But it will be out of the reach of most of course…
