Here you can see the current Menu for the Epcot United Kingdom Restaurant.

The Rose and Crown Pub is part of the United Kingdom Pavilion in Epcot World Showcase. Being British I do find myself being hypercritical of the food here!

However, it also reminds me of home, so I always enjoy a visit here.

The Epcot Rose & Crown Menu offers limited but good options.

Also if you don’t want a full meal but want to sample some traditional British beer and appetizers, this can be a good stop for lunch in World Showcase.

The Rose and Crown is also ideally located to watch the World Showcase fireworks when they are scheduled if you get a table on the patio.

All prices are correct for July 2023.

This is the modified menu for the current Disney World Dining – most restaurants have fewer items on the menu since March 2020.

Interestingly when I came to update this again, from September 2022, the menu items had been reduced even more. Now there is not a great deal of options on the Rose and Crown menu.

Most items had also increased in price, with the exception of fish and chips!

The number of Appetizers had been reduced from four to two, and entrees from seven to four. Curry is no longer offered. Believe me, as a Brit I can confirm this is more popular in the UK than traditional fish and chips!

Trifle as a dessert has also gone and been replaced by gelato. If we are going to authenticity then the trifle is a more traditional dessert, and gelato would not feature on the majority of British restaurant menus. But I guess this is what was popular with the guests. And as it’s plant-based that is a good option for vegans and those with dairy allergies.

Epcot Rose and Crown does take the Disney Dining Plan when it is offered, as well as Tables in Wonderland.

It is not the best value for the Disney Dining Plan as the items on the Epcot Rose and Crown menu are less expensive than many others in World Showcase.

Epcot Rose and Crown Appetizers

  • Coronation Salad – Crisp Salad with Madras Dressing on top of a Crunchy Grain Cracker – $12
  • Scotch Egg – Golden-fried Hard-boiled Cage-free Egg wrapped in Sausage with Mustard Sauce $14

The picture above shows the interior of the Rose and Crown. It does really well in capturing the interior design of a typical British pub.

The welcoming fireplace is a little warm for the Florida heat but you get the idea!

The chairs are definitely authentically British pub style. – wooden and not the most comfortable.

Take some time to look at the decor including the plates above the rail and the ornate ceiling.

Epcot Rose & Crown Entrees and Sides

My favorite item on the Rose and Crown Menu is the Fish and Chips. They are best served with a side of Mushy Peas.

You will see that they are served on “newspaper” as many years ago this is how traditional English fish and chips would be served.

That tradition is long since gone (not very hygienic), but don’t worry as this is “special” paper!

It is great to see the Savory Impossible Hot Pot Plant-Based option.

I tried this recently and whilst it was fine, I wished I had ordered the fish and chips instead.

  • Fish and Chips – “Rose & Crown’s Signature Dish” Beer-battered and served with Tartar Sauce $26
  • Shepherd’s Pie – Ground Beef, Seasonal Vegetables, English Peas, and Mashed Potatoes with McCall’s Irish Cheddar $25
  • Savory Impossible Hot Pot – Seasonal Vegetables in a Plant-based Meat Casserole baked with a mashed potato topping (Plant-based) $23
  • Bangers and Mash – traditional English Sausage with Colcannon Potatoes, Mushroom, Onion, and Red Wine Demi $23
  • Mushy Peas – $5

The best dessert option at Rose and Crown in my opinion is the Sticky Toffee Pudding. The Warm Vanilla Custard is amazing.

  • Sticky Toffee Pudding – Steamed Pudding “Cake” served with Warm Vanilla Custard and Hot Butter-Rum Sauce $9
  • Plant Base Seasonal Gelato with Mixed Berries $7.25

Kid’s Appetizer Menu

The Kids Menu is also very much pared down from not that long ago.

The only appetizer offered is a House Salad. Not sure my kids when they were younger would have been overjoyed with that option.

Epcot Restaurants

There are so many restaurants to choose from in Epcot, both in Future World and World Showcase.

Here is a collection of the Best Epcot Restaurants. If you are at Walt Disney World I really do suggest dining at least once in Epcot.

There are some great choices in Epcot Italy and Epcot France. You can see an overview of Epcot World Showcase in this article about all the Epcot Countries.
