If you’re anything like me, there are few things more magical than Disney World at the holidays. The twinkling lights, the festive treats, the EPCOT Festival of the Holidays – it truly is my favorite time of year to visit.
But let’s be honest. A holiday season trip can be pricey.
So I have some genuinely good news for you today.
Disney has just released FOUR brand new hotel discounts for the 2026 holiday season, and they became bookable on June 25th.

Whether you’re an Annual Passholder, a Florida Resident, a Disney+ subscriber, or simply someone who loves Disney (which is all of us, right?), there is a deal here with your name on it.
Let me walk you through exactly what’s on offer, who qualifies, and which one is likely your best bet.
1. Annual Passholders – Save Up to 30%
This is the deepest publicly announced discount of the bunch, so if you hold an Annual Pass, this is almost certainly your winner.
Eligible Passholders can save up to 30% on select rooms within the Disney Resorts Collection for stays from October 4th through December 24th, 2026. The actual savings range from 20% to 30% depending on which resort you choose.
After all my years of Disney travel, I can tell you that the Passholder discounts are usually the ones to beat. If you have a pass, start here.
2. Disney+ Subscribers – Save Up to 25% PLUS a Free Park Hopper
This is the offer that has everyone talking, and for good reason. It’s not just a room discount – it comes with a genuinely valuable “freebie” attached.
Eligible Disney+ subscribers enrolled in the Disney+ Perks program can save up to 25% on rooms when they purchase a 4-night, 4-day room-and-ticket package.
On top of that, you’ll receive a complimentary Park Hopper upgrade. That means instead of being locked into one park per day, you can move freely between all four parks throughout your trip.
The eligible stay dates are a little more restricted than the other offers:
- September 25th–October 8th
- October 19th–31st
- November 15th–28th
- December 13th–24th
Here’s an important tip I want you to take note of: simply HAVING a Disney+ subscription is not enough.
You must actually enroll in the free Disney+ Perks program by logging in at the Disney+ Perks website using the email tied to your active subscription, then following the prompts.
Don’t skip this step or you’ll find the deal won’t apply!
Why the free Park Hopper is a big deal: During the holidays, Magic Kingdom hosts Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party on select nights, which means the park closes early to regular day guests on those dates.
The clever strategy is to visit Magic Kingdom during the day on a party day, then “hop” over to EPCOT or Hollywood Studios in the evening for dinner and fireworks. With a free Park Hopper in your pocket, this savvy crowd-beating trick is suddenly available to you at no extra cost.
A little money-saving wisdom from me: even if you are NOT currently a Disney+ subscriber, it’s worth doing the math. The cost of a month or two of Disney+ is small compared to the hundreds you could save with this package. For many families, signing up just to unlock this deal will pay for itself many times over.
3. Florida Residents – Save Up to 25%
Living in the Sunshine State has its perks, and this is one of them!
Florida Residents can save up to 25% on select rooms, with savings ranging from 15% to 25% depending on resort. The eligible stay dates are:
- October 19th–31st
- November 15th–28th
- December 13th–24th
4. Everyone Else – Save Up to 20%
Don’t fit into any of the categories above? Don’t worry – Disney hasn’t forgotten about you!
Any guest can save up to 20% on select rooms within the Disney Resorts Collection for stays from October 4th through December 24th, 2026. The savings range from 10% to 20% based on your resort choice.
This general public offer covers the widest range of dates, so it’s a wonderful safety net if the more restrictive Disney+ dates don’t line up with your plans.
My Tips for Booking These Deals
Here is my tried-and-tested advice after booking countless Disney trips over the years:
Book early. Holiday season rooms book up FAST, and the discounted room categories are limited. The sooner you lock in your reservation, the better your chances of snagging your preferred resort.
Be flexible. As with all Disney special offers, not every resort, room type, or date will be available under every discount. Having backup options ready makes the whole process far less stressful.
Do the math (or let someone do it for you). Sometimes a slightly lower percentage discount on a different resort works out cheaper overall. If crunching numbers isn’t your idea of fun, a good travel agent will compare all the available offers and find your best deal at no cost to you.
Don’t assume the highest percentage is always best for your dates. As one reader pointed out, the Disney+ deal doesn’t always apply the room discount to nights falling just outside the official windows. Always compare against the general public offer before committing.
With four different ways to save and discounts reaching up to 30%, there really is something for almost everyone.
If I had to pick, I’d say Annual Passholders should grab the 30% deal, while everyone else should seriously consider that Disney+ package – that free Park Hopper upgrade is a gift that keeps on giving once you’re actually in the parks.
Whatever you choose, get planning soon. The magic of the holidays at Disney World is something everyone should experience at least once, and these deals make it that little bit easier to say yes.
