Disney Cruises for Summer 2022 were released on 22 March 2021.
Here I show the opening day prices compared with the price for the Disney European cruises as were shown on 25 April 2022
Certain people are able to book a Disney cruise and get the opening days’ prices, which are almost always lower than those available when booking opens up to everyone.
This comparison certainly shows how much some prices can increase, but there are also significant decreases in price as well.
But it also gave some very surprising results.
If you have sailed before you will be a member of the Castaway Club. All members have priority booking according to which tier status you have:
- Monday, March 22 – Platinum Castaway Club Members and Disney’s Golden Oaks residents
- Tuesday, March 23 – Gold Castaway Club Members
- Wednesday, March 24 – Silver Castaway Club members, Adventures by Disney Insiders, and DVC members who have not previously sailed with DCL
Note that the prices that I show here are opening day prices and prices on 25 April 2022
So this is now over 12 months from when you could first have booked your 2022 Disney Europe Cruise.
Prices change all the time. So always check with the Disney Cruise website if you want to book.
These prices are intended to just give an indication of the cost of a Disney Cruise to Europe and are subject to change.
All prices shown are for 2 adults and include taxes and port charges.
The prices which are shown are for the lowest advertised price in that category.
For example, the lowest price verandah stateroom will usually be a white wall verandah stateroom. Other types of verandah stateroom, may be priced higher.
Staterooms are also available for 3 and 4 guests. There are limited staterooms for 5. Concierge staterooms are also available for up to 7 guests.
All are at additional costs for guests over and above the price for 2 which is shown here.
I admit I found it very surprising how many prices had not increased at all, and how many have actually dropped. I do know that this is because they are now offering Guarantee Staterooms, but these offer great value.
Of course, there will not be the same amount of choice within those categories as on opening day – but for many sailings, the price had not increased over the opening day.
I will follow this and update from time to time to see just how prices change over time.
