It is not long now until the new Disney Private Island, Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point will be welcoming her first guests.

This seems to be a view of the Family Beach on Lookout Cay.
You can see very clearly here the new Mabrika Cove Cabanas.
There are 20 Cabanas on the Family Beach.
The larger cabanas nearest to us in the photo are the Family Cabanas. You can’t really see from the photo, but I am guessing that these larger cabanas are at either end of the beach. These have a maximum capacity of 16 guests.
I am sure that they will be just as popular as the Castaway Cay Cabanas – and they are even higher priced.

True-True Too BBQ
This picture doesn’t really give too much away, but the food is probably going to be very similar to that on Castaway Cay. Thankfully it looks as though there is plenty of shade available!
The pavillion design is inspired by the surroundings and is meant to “resemble a series of colorful, oversized seashells scattered along the coastline”.
As always, the Disney Imagineers have created something with incredible attention to detail. If you look at the surface underneath the canopies you can see the design of coral seashells, fish and flowers.
Tram Stop
We are seeing just the bare bones here of one of the future tram stops.
We are told that this space will “soon be filled with the bright colors that will light up the destination, inspired by the warmth of Bahamian art and culture. Expect hair braiding, merchandise and lots of fun”.
I am sure that we can also expect some of our favorite characters to help make our time at Lighthouse Point even more magical. Here are the new outfits that Mickey, Minnie and Friends have for their new home.
