Disney Cruise Line has released Disney Treasure sailings from October 2027 through April 2028 — 31 cruises spanning the Eastern Caribbean, Western Caribbean and a single Bahamian sailing. I’ve pulled every opening day fare into one place, worked out the per-night cost for all four stateroom categories, and found a pricing pattern that could save a family well over $3,000 for the sake of moving their holiday by two weeks. I know this isn’t always possible, but looking at how the prices change for dates ad categories can help you save

The Season at a Glance

Thirty-one sailings, six different itineraries, and a price range far wider than you might expect.

Put those two per-night numbers side by side and you have the story of this release: the most expensive week costs 1.84 times the cheapest week for an identical inside stateroom on an almost identical Western Caribbean itinerary. Sail 26 December instead of 16 October and you’ll pay $3,665 more for the same seven nights.

Notice how the spread grows as you move up the ship. Inside cabins swing by 84% across the season; concierge swings by 124%. Disney has far more pricing freedom at the top of the ship than the bottom, and it uses every bit of it.

The Pricing Curve — One Chart That Explains Everything

Four things jump out to me:

1. October has the lowest prices. The five Halloween on the High Seas sailings are the cheapest cluster of the entire release.
2. Two enormous spikes, both explainable. The 20 November jump is Thanksgiving week. The 18 and 26 December spikes are Christmas and New Year. These aren’t itinerary premiums; they’re calendar premiums.
3. January and early February pricing straight back down. Once the holidays clear, prices return almost exactly to October levels.
4. Then the long climb into spring break. From 19 February onwards prices ratchet upward for nine straight sailings, peaking at 8 April, before falling again on 22 April.

Two observations. First, the 8-night Christmas cruise has a higher sticker price than the New Year sailing but a lower per-night cost — $1,031 against $1,145 — because you’re getting an extra night. If you’re choosing between them, the Christmas sailing is the better mathematical deal. Second, the New Year itinerary drops Cozumel in favor of a third sea day, and you’re paying $1,145 a night for the privilege. Whether a quieter sea day over New Year is worth more than a port stop is entirely a matter of taste, but it’s worth knowing before you book.

Season-by-Season Comparison

Grouping the 31 sailings into the periods families most want to sail makes the pattern unmistakable.

What the season gap costs you over a full week

A family in a verandah stateroom pays roughly $1,500 more to sail in spring than in October. In concierge, the gap is nearly $4,500.

Eastern vs Western: Which Costs More?

Comparing the two core seven-night products head to head — twelve Eastern sailings against fourteen Western — Eastern is consistently the pricier option, though not dramatically so.

The gap in the lower categories is small enough to be swamped by which specific week you pick. In concierge it’s more meaningful — $437 across a week. My reading is that the two sea days at the start of the Eastern itinerary are a genuine selling point for concierge guests, who tend to be the people most interested in enjoying the ship itself, and Disney has priced accordingly.

The Concierge Multiple — And Why It Keeps Widening

This is the finding that interested me most. If you divide the concierge fare by the inside fare for every sailing, you get a clean measure of how aggressively Disney prices the top of the ship. Across the release it averages 2.75×. But it is nowhere near constant.

The pattern is clear and it is not random: the multiple tracks demand. On the cheapest October dates concierge costs about 2.55 times an inside cabin. On Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year and the Easter fortnight it stretches past 2.95× and peaks at 3.12×. In other words, when a week is in demand, Disney doesn’t raise all fares by the same percentage — it raises concierge hardest, because concierge is the most supply-constrained product on the ship and the guests who want it are the least price-sensitive.

The practical consequence: if concierge is your goal, date flexibility is worth far more to you than it is to an inside stateroom guest. Moving from 15 April to 29 April saves an inside guest $938. It saves a concierge guest $4,116.

The Two-Week Rule (How to Save Four Figures)

Because the Treasure alternates Eastern and Western itineraries fortnightly, most sailings have a near-identical twin two weeks either side. Comparing those produces some startling numbers.

Every one of those swaps buys you the same ship, the same crew and — in five of six cases — exactly the same ports. The 26 December to 11 December swap is the extreme case: $3,007 saved on an inside cabin, and $11,897 saved in concierge, purely by sailing before the New Year rush rather than into it. You’d still be sailing under Very Merrytime décor. But I know that not everyone can because of scheduling restrictions.

Observations

Looking at this release on its own terms, without reference to any previous season, a few things stand out.

Disney is pricing the calendar, not the cruise. The single biggest driver of what you’ll pay on the Treasure is not the itinerary, not the number of ports — it’s which week of the year you sail. A 1.84× swing between the cheapest and most expensive weeks for the same inside cabin on the same route is the clearest possible statement of that.

The shoulder seasons are being left “relatively” affordable. October at $622 a night and early February at $672 are real prices for real families, and they sit alongside Christmas weeks at $1,145. That’s a wider spread than I’d expect, and it’s good news for anyone with flexibility — retirees, families who homeschool, couples traveling without children. Disney is not pricing everyone out; it’s pricing the school holidays higher, just like everyone else in the travel industry.

Concierge is becoming a different product entirely. A 3.12× multiple over an inside cabin on New Year’s week is aspirational pricing in the truest sense. At $24,998 for seven nights, that stateroom and the concierge experience is at a huge premium. And it will be one of the first ones to sell out.

The one thing I’d watch. The 26 December Western itinerary drops Cozumel for a third sea day, and it’s the most expensive week per night in the release. Charging peak-of-peak money for one fewer port is a bold move. If that sailing takes longer to fill than the Christmas 8-night beside it, we’ll know the market has a limit after all.

The Treasure is relatively new – she was only launched at the end of 2025. Conventional wisdom says pricing softens once the new-ship shine wears off. This release doesn’t look like a ship with the premium pricing tapering off — it looks like one Disney still believes it can sell at a premium.
