Disney Cruise Line has now released the Disney Treasure sailings for May through September 2027, and in this article you’ll find the opening day prices for those newly announced dates.
These summer 2027 itineraries continue the 7 night Eastern and Western Caribbean pattern from Port Canaveral, and as always, opening day pricing gives us the clearest look at where Disney Cruise Line is positioning this ship in the market.

But whenever new dates are released, it also creates an opportunity to step back and compare.
How do these May through September 2027 opening day prices stack up against the previously released October 2026 through May 2027 sailings?
In this article, I’ll share the full opening day fares for the new dates and then break down how pricing has shifted.
The percentage increases may appear modest at first glance.
However, over a 7-night cruise, even small shifts can translate into several hundred dollars — particularly for families booking Verandah or Concierge staterooms.
Let’s take a closer look at what the numbers show — and what these new 2027 prices may tell us about where Disney Cruise Line pricing is headed.
This guide will show you all the available cruises, with current prices for each sailing.
All prices shown are for 2 guests and include taxes and port fees. Prices vary.

Disney Treasure Pricing Comparison – Has the Ceiling Been Reached?
When Disney Cruise Line released the October 2026 through May 2027 sailings, I genuinely wondered whether pricing had finally stabilized.
After several years of steady increases across the fleet — particularly on the newer ships — it felt possible that Disney had reached the upper limit of what the market would tolerate.
Recently, we even saw some Guarantee Stateroom rates offered on Disney Treasure staterooms – this is almost unheard of for a ship that was so new.
But comparing those earlier opening prices to the current April through September 2027 sailings tells a different story.
Prices have continued to climb.
Average Per Night Price Comparison
| Category | Opening Avg (Oct 2026–May 2027) | Current Avg (Apr–Sept 2027) | $ Increase | % Increase |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Inside | $742 | $784 | +$42 | +5.7% |
| Oceanview | $807 | $865 | +$58 | +7.2% |
| Verandah | $928 | $990 | +$62 | +6.7% |
| Concierge | $2,172 | $2,295 | +$123 | +5.7% |
What That Means Over a 7 Night Cruise on Average
- Inside: +$294
- Oceanview: +$406
- Verandah: +$434
- Concierge: +$861
Families are now paying anywhere from $300 to nearly $900 more per cruise compared to similar sailings released earlier.
Yes, I know that some of this can be explained by the fact that these sailings are going over peak Summer dates.
But the previous dates were also over Holiday periods so that pushed average prices up too.
Disney Treasure – Per Night Pricing Trend
Opening Sailings vs Current Sailings
Is Disney Cruise Line Pricing Itself Too High?
This is where the conversation becomes more interesting.
These are not inaugural sailings.
The Disney Treasure will no longer be brand new by late 2027.
Traditionally, once a ship moves past its launch season, pricing begins to normalize.
Instead, we are seeing continued upward pressure — across every stateroom category.
The increases are not dramatic in percentage terms — roughly 6–7% on average — but in real dollars, they are meaningful.
An extra $40–$60 per night may not sound like much.
But over a 7 night cruise, that quickly becomes hundreds of dollars.
Concierge guests are now paying nearly $900 more for comparable sailings. Even those in Inside staterooms are paying an average of $300 more for 7 night sailings than for the previous season.
For many longtime Disney cruisers, that is discouraging.
Not because Disney isn’t delivering a quality product — it absolutely is.
But because the value equation is shifting.
Caribbean itineraries remain largely the same.
The ship is no longer in its debut window.
Yet prices continue to climb.
Demand remains strong — and Disney Cruise Line clearly believes the market will support these increases.
But it does raise a larger question:
Has Disney Cruise Line moved from premium pricing to aspirational pricing?
For some families, the difference matters.
The Disney Treasure is still selling.
But whether this trajectory is sustainable long-term — especially as competition increases — is something worth watching carefully.
