The usual advice about booking a Disney Cruise is to book as soon as the dates are released so that you get the best prices and the best choice of stateroom.
As Disney has just released their itineraries for October 2026 to May 2027 I wanted to look at how prices increased over the first few days when booking is available.
Here is a chart that shows what the prices are at the time of writing:

When we look at the price comparisons we need to understand exactly how DCL sailings are released.
There is a priority booking period when Castaway Club Members and certain other groups have priority.
The tiered booking period began on August 26, 2025 for Castaway Club Members and some others as follows:
- Monday August 25, 2025 – Pearl Members
- Tuesday, August 26, 2025 – Platinum Members, Golden Oak Club Members, and Club 33 Members
- Wednesday, August 27, 2025 – Gold Castaway Club members
- Thursday, August 28, 2025 – Silver Members, Disney Vacation Club Members, and Adventures by Disney Insiders
- Tuesday, September 2, 2025, the general public and first-time cruisers will be able to book.
This article was written on August 29, 2025. The reason for taking this day is because I wanted to see how prices rise over the peak booking period – but before bookings are open to the general public.
The reason for this? I am guessing that most people who wanted to book, and who have priority, will have booked at this point. So it will give an indication of what effect the general pattern of booking has on pricing.
For this I am taking Disney Treasure as the example. Here are all the sailings for October 2026 to May 2027:

As you can see from this table, the prices changes were, for most dates, less than 0.5%.
There is one notable exception to this – and of course it makes sense. The sailing over New Year 2026 has seen prices of up to 6.4%.
Demand for this cruise is high, and therefore the prices have risen particularly quickly. It is highly likely that when this is released to the public, this will sell out next week.
It will be interesting to keep following this to see how much prices rise over time as we get closer to the sailing dates.
