After an incredible two-month journey around the globe, Disney Cruise Line has officially reached a major milestone as the Disney Adventure made her highly anticipated arrival at her new home port of Singapore on the evening of March 3.

As the ship approached Marina Bay Cruise Centre Singapore, the atmosphere was absolutely electric. Guests and onlookers were treated to a breathtaking water salute as cheers erupted from cast members, partners, and Disney fans gathered to witness the historic moment.
The celebration lit up the night sky with dazzling fireworks, marking not just the arrival of a ship, but the beginning of a whole new chapter for Disney Cruise Line in Asia.
“The arrival of the Disney Adventure in Singapore marks a significant milestone in our global expansion, introducing Disney cruising to Asia for the very first time,” said Joe Schott, president of Disney Signature Experiences. “Honoring Disney Cruise Line’s legacy of unforgettable journeys, our newest ship brings together our signature storytelling and creativity in an exciting new region.”
Singapore couldn’t be a more perfect home. As a leading cruise hub in Asia, the city boasts direct flights from more than 160 cities and world-class cruise infrastructure — including the recently expanded Marina Bay Cruise Centre Singapore.
The Disney Adventure’s five-year home porting commitment is a huge milestone for the region and for Disney Cruise Line’s continued global expansion.
A Red Carpet Celebration
The excitement didn’t stop at the dock!
To commemorate the ship’s grand arrival, more than 200 Singapore cast members, along with their families, loved ones, and partners, gathered for a glamorous red carpet celebration inspired by the ship’s Hollywood Spotlight Club — one of the rotational dining locations onboard.
The evening paid tribute to the golden age of Hollywood, complete with gourmet cuisine, shimmering décor, and plenty of glitz and glamour. It was a fittingly dazzling welcome for Disney Cruise Line’s newest star.
What Awaits Onboard
With the Disney Adventure’s maiden voyage set for March 10, guests won’t have to wait long to experience the magic at sea.
The Disney Adventure features seven uniquely themed areas, offering itineraries designed for incredible days filled with adventure and imagination.
The ship will introduce several exciting firsts to the region, including regionally inspired cuisine, brand-new attractions at sea, new retail locations, and an impressive lineup of entertainment at both the Walt Disney Theatre and the Garden Stage.
From immersive storytelling to innovative entertainment experiences, the Disney Adventure is poised to bring Disney’s signature creativity to an entirely new audience — and we cannot wait to see what is onboard!
