The Seven Themed Areas of the Disney Adventure

The details are beginning to emerge and Disney Adventure looks spectacular.

You may remember from the last announcement that the new ship will have seven uniquely themed areas.

These will transport guests into the pages of well-loved Disney stories alongside their favorite characters.

Marvel Landing

This is one of the areas on the upper deck

At Marvel Landing, guests will experience Avengers-level adventures on three all-new attractions and experiences inspired by iconic Marvel Super Heroes.

On Ironcycle Test Run, an 820-foot-long rollercoaster, guests will test-drive Tony Stark’s latest Ironcycle prototype on a thrilling high-speed circuit and be suspended up to 30 feet above the upper decks.

Aboard Pym Quantum Racers, guests will steer Pym Tech-modified mini-cars on an oversized toy set track.

Groot Galaxy Spin will take guests on an out-of-this-world ride onboard a Nova Corp Bass Jumper, set to an awesome mix of upbeat music.

Toy Story Place

This is also featured on the upper deck of Disney Adventure.

Toy Story Place will inspire guests to explore, play, connect and have fun in a whimsical water play land where the world of Pixar’s “Toy Story” will spring to life.

Designed for families with young children, the area will include playful water features inspired by the films, including a large family pool, multiple whirlpools, towering water slides and interactive splash pads.

This lively area, spanning the center of the upper decks, takes the joy of play to infinity and beyond. THis has:

The lawn area leads to a large staircase.

At the top you will find a courtyard area with Sorcerer’s Apprentice Mickey Mouse with his wand held high as if conjuring this magical garden where beloved characters and stories bloom to life.

The attention to detail is spectacular.

Just look at the hidden characters in the trees!

At the back of this area is a stunning storybook castle showpiece soaring three decks tall.

Disney Cruise Line has it’s first castle at sea!

The artwork is inspired by castles, both real and imagined, from Disney stories and theme parks across the globe.

Look closely to find nods to the Walt Disney Pictures castle, Sleeping Beauty’s castle at Disneyland Paris and Rapunzel’s castle, as well as influences from sketches done by legendary Disney artists such as Herbert Ryman, Frank Armitage and Eyvind Earle.

Garden View Staterooms

One of the most interesting revelations is that there will be Garden View staterooms.

Look to the edge of the pictures and you will see that there are balconies overlooking this area.

disneyadventuregardenstaterooms

These look very much like the Promenade Staterooms which you will find on some of the Royal Caribbean ships.

Expect these staterooms to be amongst the most popular on the ship. I predict that these are going to go very quickly when booking is released.

At the bottom of the picture, you can see that there is a restaurant underneath these staterooms – there is one on the other side as well.

These staterooms may be in a great location and most certainly will be good for people watching, but I am not sure that I would choose one.

The reason?

Whilst I am sure the interior will be sound-proofed, the verandah is not going to be very private and there will be likely a lot of noise. But certainly an interesting new option for Disney Cruise Line.

We already have the concept art for the design of the oceanview verandah staterooms.

Here you can see the concept art for one of the Garden View staterooms.

Disney Adventure Restaurants and Food

The exciting reveal of Disney Adventure which will begin sailing out of Singapore in 2025.

The Disney Adventure will set sail on a 3-night Maiden Voyage from Singapore on December 15, 2025 featuring two days at sea.

Here we take a look at all the dining options on the ship which includes:

  • Rotational Dining
  • Adult Only Dining
  • Premium Family Dining
  • Quick Service Dining

Rotational Dining on Disney Adventure

Each of the Disney ships has what is known as rotational dining restaurants for the main dining experience. The current ships all have 3 restaurants, but as Disney Adventure is much larger, here we have

The unique to DCL concept is that they have “rotational dining”. This means that you get to experience all of the main dining restaurants on the ship all of which have a different theme.

Not only that, but your Servers rotate with you. This means that they get to know your dining preferences so that they can make sure you have the best experience.

Here are the rotational dining restaurants:

  • Navigator’s Club will honor the prestigious maritime tradition of exclusive “captain’s table” dinners.
  • Hollywood Spotlight Club will evoke the glitz and glamour of the golden age of Hollywood.Guests will also dine at one of two magically animated restaurants celebrating the art and artistry, as well as the legacy, of Disney and Pixar animated films. Beyond dinner, this will be a one-of-a-kind experience where the dining rooms will transform from black-and-white to full- spectrum color throughout the meal and guests’ own drawings spring to life and star alongside famous characters in a show-stopping, on-screen animated finale throughout the dining rooms.
  • Animator’s Palate will be adorned with film strips and props from favorite movies such as Disney Animation’s The Little Mermaid and Encanto and Pixar’s Toy Story.
  • Animator’s Table will feature authentic artwork from iconic films such as Disney Animation’s Aladdin and Frozen and Pixar’s Finding Nemo, showcasing the process of transforming a hand-drawn sketch into living animation.

This will be a one-of-a-kind experience where the dining rooms will transform from black-and-white to full- spectrum color throughout the meal and guests’ own drawings spring to life and star alongside famous characters in a show-stopping, on-screen animated finale throughout the dining rooms.

This sounds much like Animator’s Palate that you will find on Disney Magic, Wonder, Dream and Fantasy.

Animator’s Palate

Slightly confusingly it seems that the Hollywood Spotlight Club will be like Animator’s Palate on the other ships – whereas this will be more about decor, rather than the light changing walls.

Delight in a unique dinner show that pays tribute to the rich filmmaking legacy of Disney and Pixar Animation Studios. As you dine surrounded by film strips, clapboards, director’s chairs, and display cases featuring animation boards and props from beloved films like The Little Mermaid, Encanto, and Toy Story, you’ll enjoy a carefully crafted selection of regional and international cuisine.

Mike & Sulley’s

Inspired by the famous Japanese-style eatery in Pixar’s “Monsters, Inc.,” this family-friendly restaurant celebrates world-renowned Asian cuisines in three distinct dining experiences: a full-service Japanese steakhouse, a lively teppanyaki room, and a chic sushi and sake bar.

Buffet and Table Service Locations

Here is looks as though Disney is returning to the old concept that the buffet area will serve a breakfast and lunch buffet but will be available for a sit down service in the evening.

Enchanted Summer Restaurant

Celebrate the joy of summer at one of 2 distinct dining rooms inspired by the Disney films Tangled and Frozen.

In the Maximus dining room, feel immersed in the atmosphere of a lantern festival—complete with a maypole and hand-painted motifs of the sun and Rapunzel’s frying pan. In honor of her kingdom’s royal guard horse Maximus, bridles, horseshoes and other equestrian décor are also featured.

In the Olaf dining room, experience the magic of summer solstice in Arendelle. Named after everyone’s favorite snowman (who ironically loves all things summer), the room welcomes Guests with a dazzling array of icy reminders of Elsa’s influence, including a shimmering snowflake chandelier. Both rooms offer seated dinners with a diverse menu featuring regional and international cuisines fit for royalty. During the day, enjoy breakfast and lunch buffets.

Pixar Market Restaurant

Delight in playful nods to beloved movies like Inside Out, Cars, Finding Nemo, Monsters University and more while dining at this casual marketplace that celebrates the imaginative spirit behind Pixar Animated Studios.

In the evening, the restaurant offers seated dinners with a diverse menu featuring regional and international cuisines.

Buccaneer Bar

Guests can kick up their boots and celebrate with hearty cheer as they sip on high-end brews and watch live sporting events in swashbuckling style at this pirate-inspired bar, one of many lounges on board.

A New Dining Concept – Quick Service Dining

We are used to seeing the three rotational dining restaurants and a buffet on the Disney ships. There are also quick service options located on the pool deck where you have a choice of seating around the deck.

However, Disney Adventure has a different quick service concept.

The reveal also showcased two new quick-service eateries inspired by the animated worlds of Walt Disney Animation Studios’ “The Jungle Book” and “Moana.”

Mowgli’s Eatery – Serving Indian cuisine, including vegetarian and regional dishes with a special Disney twist, this casual eatery will be inspired by Mowgli’s epic journey in “The Jungle Book.”

disneyadventure restaurants

Gramma Tala’s Kitchen –This inviting quick-service restaurant will be inspired by the vibrant scenery and island flair of “Moana” with an imaginative menu showcasing the diverse flavors found throughout the Pacific and Asia.

grammatalaskitchen

With options for indoor and outdoor seating at both locations, guests who opt to dine on either patio will also have a view of the Garden Stage to enjoy that day’s entertainment.

Let’s just hope the design doesn’t have the issues that Arendelle: A Frozen Dining Experience has on Disney Wish.

Stitch’s ‘Ohana Grill

Aloha and welcome to a relaxed dining spot inspired by Lilo & Stitch. Treat yourself to classic American bites like juicy burgers and hearty sandwiches—all served with a splash of island flair.

Kick back at this beachy hangout decked out with surfboards and raffia grass while basking in the warm, friendly vibes of Hawai?i’s North Shore.
