The new Disney cruise ship will be named Disney Destiny.
The announcement was made during the keel laying ceremony at the Meyer Werft shipyard in Papenburg, Germany.
The Disney Destiny, sister to the Disney Wish and Disney Treasure,
But even more exciting is that the theme will be “Heroes and Villains”. Excellent news that the theme of Disney Destiny will use some of the villain stories!
What great possibilities for restaurants, bars and shows.
“The Disney Destiny will celebrate our most legendary Disney stories and characters, bringing them to life in new and exciting ways exclusively for Disney Cruise Line guests,” said Sharon Siskie, senior vice president and general manager, Disney Cruise Line. “As we continue to expand our fleet, the Disney Destiny will further strengthen our position as a leader in family cruising as we offer even more ways for families to experience Disney magic and world-class service at sea.”
The Disney Destiny also reached a new construction milestone today with the keel laying ceremony at the Meyer Werft shipyard in Papenburg, Germany, which is a maritime tradition designed to bestow good luck upon the ship.
Disney also revealed the brand-new filigree artwork for the bow of the Disney Destiny
Disney Cruise Line is undergoing a rapid expansion and will soon have 8 ships in the fleet. Including Disney Adventure which will be sailing out of Singapore.
