One of the highlights of a Disney Crusie for many guests is Pirate Night.
On most Caribbean and Bahamian Disney Cruises, there will be a Pirate Night.
There are also Pirate Nights on the Disney Wonder when she sails from San Diego on Mexican Riviera and Baja Mexico cruises.
Disney Cruise Pirate nights have a special dinner menu, a show on deck, fireworks, and sometimes a late-night buffet.
It is a lot of fun to make this a good excuse to get into the Pirates in the Caribbean by wearing a costume.
If you are looking for a Disney Cruise Pirate Night Outfit here is a selection for you!

Can I Take a Pirate Sword on a Disney Cruise?
A question that is often asked is will it be OK to take a toy sword on board a Disney ship?
What many people do not know is that there is a whole list of prohibited items that you must not try and take onto a Disney ship.
An obvious category is that you should not take weapons of any kind.
However, DCL has recognized that there needs to be clarification over certain items that are just going to be used as costume accessories!
Therefore there are exceptions for certain toys – and yes it is perfectly fine to take a toy sword, lightsaber or Thor’s Hammer!
The wording below is from the Disney Website
- Firearm replicas, including non-firing, imitations, toys, and their components
- (Toy Exceptions)
- Store-bought Light sabers
- Plastic toy ‘pirate’ swords
- Plastic store-bought toy “Mjolnir” hammers (Thor’s hammer)
- (Toy Exceptions)
