Even if you are not a fan of the movie (and I am not sure why you wouldn’t be) Rapunzel’s Royal Table is a wonderful place to dine on Disney Magic.
This is one of the three rotational dining restaurants on Disney Magic. If you sail on this ship you are sure to dine at least once at Rapunzel’s Royal Table.
As with all the Disney Cruise restaurants, the attention to detail is spectacular.
Take some time to look around the restaurant to take in all the details that the Imagineers included. A great time to do this is at lunch time, since lunch is served here every day of your cruise.
Rapunzel’s Royal Table is located on Deck 3 aft, in the equivalent location as Tiana’s Place on Disney Wonder.
Just like Tiana’s not only will you enjoy a themed menu, but there will be a show during the meal.
The stage is at the back of the restaurant.
Many people ask me where the best location is to sit in Rapunzel’s Royal Table restaurant. The answer is, near the stage.
Sort of.
You will be able to see the show from here, but it is loud.
Arendelle: A Frozen Dining Experience on Disney Wish gets a lot of criticism as the stage is in the center of the room and therefore not all the tables can see the show.
The same is true of Tiana’s and Rapunzel’s shows. But here the stage is at the back.
I have sat in many locations in this restaurant and most of the time, I could certainly hear the show, but I couldn’t see it.
In this picture you can see the stage to the right.
The disadvantage if you do get a table close to the stage is that it is loud. Very loud. Think not being able to hear what your table mates are saying loud.
Having said this, the atmosphere of the restaurant is a lot of fun. It really is a celebration.
Rapunzel and Flynn Rider will visit your table. Flynn may even do the smolder for you if you ask him.
Anyway, enough about the experience of the restaurant, what about the food?
Here is the menu that you will get if you are on the shorter cruises.
