Attention all cat enthusiasts and Disney Animation aficionados, this announcement is tailor-made for you!
A brand-new lounge inspired by the 1970 Walt Disney Animation Studios classic, “The Aristocats,” is set to debut onboard the Disney Treasure when it embarks on its maiden voyage this December.
Named after the beloved music-loving feline from the film, Scat Cat Lounge will bring the vibrant penthouse performance of “Ev’rybody Wants to be a Cat” to life for the first time.
The venue will blend the sophistication of a classic jazz club with artistic nods to “The Aristocats.”
For those familiar with Disney Wish it looks as though this venue will be in the location that The Nightingale Bar takes on that ship.

Read on to discover nine design secrets awaiting guests at Scat Cat Lounge and see some of the new drinks on the cocktail menu!
A Familiar Looking Carpet: Enthusiasts of “The Aristocats” will instantly recognize the carpet inside Scat Cat Lounge, which draws inspiration from the intricate French-style rugs seen throughout Madame Adelaide Bonfamille’s elegant Parisian home.
Caution – Wet Paint: The whimsical scene from “The Aristocats” where Toulouse leaves his paint-covered paw mark on the piano will be echoed in Scat Cat Lounge, featuring colorful prints adorning the piano.
Inspired by Agrabah: Situated just off the Grand Hall, Scat Cat Lounge will incorporate design elements from the Grand Hall’s Agrabah-inspired architecture, using a complementary color scheme and Middle Eastern décor that harmonizes perfectly with the venue’s overall theme.
Double Delicious Craft Cocktails: Scat Cat Lounge will offer a unique menu of cocktails celebrating “The Aristocats,” including the Créme de la Créme Martini and The Cat Drink.
The Cats Go Marching: Guests will be greeted by a parade of silhouetted cats at the entrance of Scat Cat Lounge, each representing characters from the film, guiding them into the venue.
Scat Cat’s Horn: The “The Aristocats” theme will start right at the front door of the lounge, featuring a sculpted handle that mimics Scat Cat’s iconic instrument.
Hidden Characters: While Hidden Mickeys are a staple of Walt Disney Imagineering designs, Scat Cat Lounge will feature hidden depictions of Roquefort, the loyal mouse companion of Duchess and her kittens.
An Ode to Music: A striking black and white-striped wall will run through the center of the venue, showcasing a vibrant neon sign with the lyrics, “Ev’rybody Wants to be A Cat.” This wall, reminiscent of piano keys, will pay tribute to the pivotal role of music in the film.
The Cats Behind the Magic: At first glance, the funky poster hanging outside Scat Cat Lounge might seem ordinary. However, the collage of instrument-playing cats will hold a secret: each cat in the artwork will be modeled after a beloved pet of someone from the project team that designed and built Scat Cat Lounge.
