It’s Official! Disney Cruise Line to Sail from New York City Late October 2027

Disney Cruise line has announced that they will be sailing from New Work City.

And just as I predicted the ship that is going to be sailing from the New York cruise port is Disney Wish.

After her New York sailings Disney Wish will sail to San Juan and then will continue here usual 3 and 4 night sailings from Port Canaveral.

The tiered booking period will begin on September 1, 2026 for Castaway Club Members and some others as follows:

• Monday August 31, 2026 – Pearl Members
• Tuesday, September 1, 2026 – Platinum Members, Golden Oak Club Members, and Club 33 Members
• Wednesday, September 2, 2026 – Gold Castaway Club members
• Thursday, September 3, 2026 – Silver Members, Disney Vacation Club Members, and Adventures by Disney Insiders
• Tuesday, September 8, 2026 the general public and first-time cruisers will be able to book.

This is a very welcome return to New York for Disney Cruise Lines and it is particularly significant that it will be one of the newer class of ships, Disney Wish that will be sailing.

However, I am sure that many will be disappointed as to the number of sailings that Disney Wish will make from her home port of New York.

With only a small number of cruises sailing from September to early November before sailing to San Juan, this will leave some disappointed.
