Walt Disney World has released one of the strongest hotel discounts we’ve seen in years, with rooms starting at $99 per night for Summer 2026.
This offer is available to Disney+ subscribers enrolled in the Disney+ Perks program.
If you’ve been waiting for the right moment to book a summer vacation, this may be it.

Travel Dates and Booking Information
Booking opens April 2, 2026.
Valid for most nights June 21 through August 15, 2026.
A two-night consecutive minimum stay is required, with a maximum of 14 nights.
To access the offer, guests must:
- Be an active Disney+ subscriber
- Enroll in the free Disney+ Perks program
- Have the Disney+ subscriber stay in the room
Simply having Disney+ is not enough — you must activate Disney+ Perks.

Why This Deal Is Significant
These rates represent substantial savings compared to standard rack pricing.
For example:
The Cars Family Suite at Art of Animation often carries a rack rate of approximately $578 per night. At $249, that’s close to a 60% discount.
Savanna View rooms at Animal Kingdom Lodge typically run around $669 per night. At $369, the savings are over 45%.
In many cases, this Disney+ subscriber rate beats the 40% Annual Passholder discount currently available for the same travel window — which is rare.
Is It Worth Subscribing to Disney+ Just for This?
For many families, the answer is yes.
A short-term Disney+ subscription costs far less than the potential hotel savings. Even two months of subscription fees would likely be offset many times over by the room discount.
Unlike becoming a Florida resident (!) or purchasing an Annual Pass, the barrier to entry is very low.
Additional Summer Perk
Guests staying at Disney Resorts Collection hotels will also receive complimentary water park admission on their check-in day between May 26 and September 8, 2026, subject to availability.
Both Blizzard Beach and Typhoon Lagoon are scheduled to be operating during that timeframe.
This adds meaningful value, especially for summer trips.
How Does This Compare to Free Dining?
Disney is also offering Free Dining for select 2026 dates.
However, Free Dining requires booking a non-discounted package with tickets, and in many scenarios the Disney+ room discount may result in greater overall savings.
When paired with ticket promotions like the 4 Park Magic Ticket or the Summer After 2 PM ticket offer, the room-only Disney+ deal may provide more flexibility and better value for some families.
Families with children ages 3–9 should also evaluate whether the Kids Eat Free offer can stack with their booking strategy.
As always, it comes down to party size, dining habits, and ticket needs.
Best Dates to Maximize Savings
Summer pricing tends to be more consistent than major holiday periods.
Generally:
- Sunday through Thursday nights are slightly cheaper
- Friday and Saturday nights carry a modest premium
- Late August often offers lower crowds and strong availability
The final week of this promotion may overlap with the start of Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party season.
