Have you ever tried the Disney Yak and Yeti Restaurant? If you are looking for a peaceful haven for a great full service restaurant meal in Disney’s Animal Kingdom park look no further than the Anadapur Yak and Yeti.
Owned and operated by Landry’s who are the restaurant chain who own The Rainforest Cafe and the T-Rex Restaurant, the Yak and Yeti is one of the most consistently highest rated restaurants by guests in all of Walt Disney World.
Even though the Yak and Yeti is not Disney owned it does accept the Disney Dining Plan (when that is operating).

Animal Kingdom Yak and Yeti Restaurant
The Yak and Yeti is located in the Asia section of Animal Kingdom, close to the Kali River Rapids. It has a full service dining area which seats up to 250 guests.
Due to the arrangement of the dining area in small, divided sections it is difficult to believe that there is room for that number of guests.
The Yak and Yeti restaurant is on the second floor. There is also a counter service Yak and Yeti on the first floor with outside seating for those who do not want the full service restaurant. This has a different menu.
The attention to detail in the Yak and Yeti restaurant is exceptional. The theme is subtle and very well executed with lots of beautiful Asian artifacts displayed.
Every great Disney restaurant has a back story and the Yak and Yeti is no exception. Read the back of the menu to learn the story of Arjun, a merchant who has fallen on hard times. He opens his house for guests and turns it into the Yak and Yeti hotel.
The food is a mixture of Asian styles including Chinese and Japanese. If you are unfamiliar with the style then there are several options including the Baby Back Ribs and the Kobe Beef Burger which you may want to try.
