There are many reasons to stay in a Disneyland Resort Hotel and one of the very best is that you get to spend an extra hour in the parks in the morning before they open to the general public!
Guests staying at a Disneyland Resort Hotel have an Extra Magic Hour — early entry to either Disneyland Park or Disney California Adventure Park every day of their stay. You need to show your room key and valid theme park ticket for entry.
Extra Magic Hour will allow registered Disneyland Resort Hotel Guests admission into select attractions at Disneyland Park on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. Guests will have early entry to Disney California Adventure Park on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday, before that Park opens to the general public.
The Extra Magic Hour at Disneyland is a huge perk – particularly for Disney California Adventure Park right now. On our recent visit we managed to ride Radiator Springs Racers 3 times in a row in the early morning. As soon as the park opened to non Disney resort hotel guests the line went up to at least 60 minutes after opening time. Later in the day that line was 120 minutes!
