How To Actually Get A Discount on A Disney World Hotel Room
Offers are announced frequently by Disney World Resorts and we always let you know about them as soon as you can. However, there is a difference between an offer being available and actually being able to get one. The problem? Availability. All Disney World offers are subject to availability and this is where the problem lies. Quite often you will call and there is nothing available in the hotel you want. Even if you go to your second or third choice there is still nothing available.
So how do you actually get a Disney World Hotel discount?
Be flexible. If you can have a number of different dates available then you will increase your chances of success.
Have a number of different choices available for hotels. Do not set your heart on a particular resort. If you want the discount you may have to go to a different hotel.
Be persistent. Our experience over the years shows us that in the initial days that an offer is released there is often little availability. Persistence pays off. You can sometimes call back a week later and magically the room you want is available. This is due to a couple of different reasons. Disney releases the rooms in batches. Also, people make bookings and then cancel.
Use a Disney Travel Agent. Their services are free and they will save you a lot of time. If you have an experienced agent they can help you find the discount that you want. We only recommend Destinations in Florida. Click on the link below for a free quote:
Disney World Free Dining Bounce Back Offer Speculation Only
Unfortunately the Disney World Free Dining for 2016 offer is now over, but there is a current Bounce Back offer available for guests of Walt Disney World who stayed this year. Do not get excited about a Free Dining offer unless you qualify in this way. The 2016 Free Dining is over unless you are already booked.
There is no free Disney World Dining offer that you can book now, except this Bounce Back Offer.
However, it is interesting that the Bounce Back Free Disney World Dining offer is available for dates which are so early in the season.
This is only available if you have already received the
These dates are interesting. Anyone who has followed the pattern of Disney World Free Dining offers over the past several years will have noticed that the dates are earlier than ever before. The usual pattern is for the free dining dates to start in the last week of August. Here we can see that these dates are a lot earlier and cover the traditionally busy summer period, including July 4.
What we can speculate about is that Disney has had a difficult 2016 summer and is planning ahead to fill its resorts and parks in summer 2017 with strategic discounts. Tourism in Orlando for summer 2016 has seen a significant down turn. The dates of the Bounce Back offer is interesting as it could indicate that Disney is releasing these discounts so that they can sell a higher number of rooms in advance and then wait and see how bookings go for 2017 before releasing the Free Dining offer to the general public.
It is very much a wait and see, but as always here we will give you the offers as soon as we hear about them.
