What are the Walt Disney World Ride and Attraction Closures August 2015? Whenever you visit Walt Disney World resort the more prepared you are for your visit the better your experience will be. And it is always good to be prepared for the attractions that will be closed for refurbishment during your visit.

August is always a busy month at Walt Disney World, with the beginning of the month being the height of the crowds due to the summer school vacation. But the good news it that most of the attractions are open and of course the parks all have extended opening hours.

So what are the Walt Disney World Ride and Attraction Closures for August 2015?

Epcot Ride and Attraction Closures August 2015

The good news is that there are no scheduled ride or attraction closures for Epcot. Maelstrom of course closed some time ago to make way for the new Epcot Disney Frozen attraction which is set to debut some time around May 2016.

Disney Magic Kingdom Ride and Attraction Closures August 2015

Liberty Square River Boat is closed 8/4/2015- 8/10/2015. This is a minor attraction so should make little difference to your visit

Dream Along with Mickey is closed 7/19/2015 until 8/22/2015

Liberty Tree Tavern is closed 7/6/2015 until 11/19/2015

Pirates of the Caribbean -closed 6/8/2015 until 9/25/2015

Disney’s Animal Kingdom

There are no attraction closures at Disney’s Animal Kingdom for August 2015.

Disney’s Hollywood Studios

There are no attraction closures at Disney’s Hollywood Studios for August 2015.

As you will see there are very few scheduled ride and attraction closures at Walt Disney World for August 2015. There will of course always be the temporary down time that some rides experience. Usually the more technically advanced the ride the more likely a temporary shut down is. So you will always see downtime on rides like Test Track, Space Mountain and Expedition Everest. But these downtimes are short.
