Here are the Walt Disney World ride closures and rehabs which are scheduled for January 2015. It is always good to know when you are visiting Walt Disney World if any of the rides or attractions will be closed so that you can plan.
It is never good if your 5 year old has their heart set on riding on Splash Mountain and you find out when you get there that it is closed for the next month!

Here are all the known scheduled closures at Disney World for 2015. Remember of course that there are always temporary closures if the ride is not operational for a while. Some rides are notorious for this (think Test Track in Epcot). Usually these unscheduled closures are short and you can experience the ride later in the day.

Disney’s Hollywood Studios Ride and Attraction Closures January 2015

Disney Water Parks Closed January 2015
Blizzard Beach is closed right now and will re open on 15th March 2015. Typhoon Lagoon is open as usual.
Walt Disney World Hotel Resort Refurbishments and Closures
The Walt Disney World Resorts and Hotels sometimes experience some refurbishment work which affects the hotel. Usually the impact on resort guests is minimal but it can include things like the closure of the main swimming pool so it is always good to plan ahead. Here are the ones we know about here.
Disney’s Animal Kingdom Villas – The Samawati Pool Slide is closed from 7th January until 11th February
Disney’s Art of Animation Resort – Big Blue Pool is closed 12th January until 14th January. The Little Mermaid Flippin Fins Pool is closed from 15th January until 16th January 2015.
Disney’s Beach Club Resort
There are guest room renovations which will be going on until 22nd August 2015. The Stormalong Bay Pool Waterslide and bridge 1 will be closed from 5th January until 2nd February. Disney’s Yacht Club will also be impacted by this as it shares Stormalong Bay with the Beach Club Resort.
Disney’s Polynesian Resort
The Volcano Pool is closed until 31st March.
Polynesian Resort guests get free admission to Blizzard Beach while the Volcano Pool is closed. Bus Transportation is provided from the resort to Blizzard Beach. This is a good option but think carefully about whether not having a resort pool will impact your vacation.
