Authorities were initially asked to conduct a welfare check after friends and neighbors were unable to reach Williams.

A Pioneer of YouTube Travel and Theme Park Content
Williams was considered one of the earliest pioneers of YouTube vlogging.
He launched his first channel in 2009, initially gaining attention for videos exploring abandoned places, filming locations from movies and television, and lesser-known roadside attractions across the United States.
In 2012, he created The Daily Woo, a channel that would eventually become his signature platform. Through daily vlogs, Williams documented his travels across all 50 states and later around the world, focusing on theme parks, small towns, historic sites, and everyday adventures.
His calm, conversational style and consistency earned him a devoted following of more than 740,000 subscribers.
Disney parks and surrounding communities were a major focus of his content. Williams regularly filmed at Walt Disney World, Disneyland, and locations tied to Disney history, becoming a familiar and respected figure within the theme park fan community.
A Life Recently Rooted in Celebration
After years of living on the road and traveling extensively, Williams purchased a home in Celebration, Florida, in 2023. He frequently featured the town in his videos, often driving through the neighborhood in a golf cart while showcasing seasonal decorations and local events.
His final video, posted just one day before his death, highlighted Christmas decorations in downtown Celebration. Viewers have since filled the comments with messages of gratitude, remembrance, and disbelief.
Tributes Pour In from Friends and Fellow Creators
News of Williams’ death prompted an outpouring of tributes from fellow YouTubers, creators, and fans. Many described him as generous, kind, and deeply committed to his craft. Friends recalled his enthusiasm for future projects, recent travels, and plans he was excited to share with his audience.
