When you visit Disneyland resort, there is a temptation to stay on property and do everything onsite.

You can have a lot of fun that way, but if you are worried about your budget, it’s not necessarily the best option.

Things can be pretty pricey if you are eating within the Disneyland Resort or the parks all the time.

Eating in the Disneyland Resort hotels isn’t necessarily a time or energy-saving option either. Whilst the Disney resorts do have some great places to eat, they are still quite a walk to the park entrance.

For example, Paradise Pier Hotel, the least expensive Disney hotel option is nowhere near as close to the
Disneyland resort parks as you would probably like them to be.

Meanwhile, there are very respectable hotels and motels right across the street, within walking distance of the parks. Some of these offer complimentary breakfast and that can set you up for the day and save you some money.

Even if your Anaheim hotel doesn’t offer a free breakfast there are certainly plenty of places to eat in the area close to Disneyland.

The best breakfast restaurants near Disneyland are certainly something to consider when planning your trip. It can save you a lot of money if you are willing to eat outside Disney parks and hotels.


Breakfast restaurants near Disneyland aren’t necessarily about getting the best breakfast in Anaheim.

Although that can be a happy byproduct, it’s mostly about making your vacation count
in the most important ways.

Disneyland and Disney’s California Adventure do have some breakfast locations inside the parks. However, these are limited to only a precious few.

At the end of the day, you’re left with essentially fast food, or cafeteria food, or however you want to
flavor it.

The breakfast buffets in the Disneyland Resort Hotels near the parks are a terrific way to fill up and
potentially meet characters before you go into the park, but they are very expensive and you
probably won’t want to do that on each day of your trip.

Mimi’s Cafe in Anaheim – One of the Best Breakfasts Near Disneyland


Mimi’s is a chain, which means it’s fairly reliable as restaurants go. It’s a cute jazzy little New
Orleans-inspired French restaurant with an incredible breakfast menu. Certainly, it is one of the top places to eat when you want breakfast near the Disney parks.

If breakfast is your favorite meal of the day, you can do a lot worse than heading over to Mimi’s. Service is efficient and friendly.

Even better, this location is hardly an out-of-the-way spot.

It can be a quick jaunt from many of the hotels along Harbor Blvd. right across the street from the entrance to the Disneyland resort.

Just a short walk from Disneyland park, the Courtyard Marriott has a lot of great reasons for you
to stay there.

A great reason to stay or visit The Bistro. This is the casual eatery in the lobby of the hotel. It is one of the top places to eat breakfast near Disneyland.

It has a lot of healthier options and you do not have to be a hotel guest to eat here.

This breakfast menu includes items like Avocado Toast and Steel Cut Oatmeal.

The Lemon Blueberry Ricotta Pancakes are highly recommended and at $12 a reasonable price for a high-quality breakfast in a very pleasant setting near Disneyland.

There is also a Grab and Go Menu with bagels, muffins, and pastries.

At the Bistro you can enjoy a casual meal as early as 6:30 am or just before noon when they stop serving breakfast.

Chambers Bar and Bistro

This is located in Hotel Indigo on Katella, just east of its intersection with Harbor.
It is just minutes away from Disneyland and it’s a very popular boutique hotel.

The food at Chambers is a varied assortment of typical American-style breakfast fare. It has Specialties such as Tenders and Waffles, Country Chicken, Ribeye and Eggs, and other waffles and egg dishes.

Breakfast entrees are priced from $12.50 to $20, with most of them around the $15 mark. The Churro-flavored waffle, whipped cream, caramel, and strawberries is $10.

Chambers has the added benefit of opening at 6:00 am. However, it stops serving breakfast at 10:00 am.
Ideal for those who want an early start and to get into the Disneyland Parks early in the morning.

Tru Grits Anaheim


Located just up Harbor Blvd. from Disneyland, near where Interstate 5 connects, there is
a small restaurant that features modern American Asian cuisine.

This place is known best for its Happy Hour, but it also serves up a good breakfast.

There is even an extensive kids menu with all-day meals in addition to the breakfast offerings which include pancakes, french Toast, Eggs, and Cereal.

This restaurant opens at 6:30 so it’s also a great candidate for an early start before a big
day in the park.

However, this is just a little bit farther (about 3/4 mile from Disneyland) and you
probably don’t want to walk it.

Roscoe’s House of Chicken And Waffles


If you want a big breakfast platter before you start your day at the Happiest Place on Earth, just
stop off at Roscoe’s before you go.

This well-known establishment is within walking distance from Disneyland, but it’s a bit of a trek north to get there.

Roscoes is located on Harbor Blvd. about a block and a half away from the east gate to the Disneyland resort.

The extensive menu will make you dizzy if you aren’t familiar with it, but you will surely have a favorite combo by the time your vacation is over.

If you want to enjoy Roscoes in your hotel room and save yourself a trip, they partner with just about every delivery service you can pick.

Country Family Cafe


Perhaps the biggest menu among breakfast restaurants near Disneyland is the one at Country
Family Cafe. This very reasonably priced small restaurant is a great option for breakfast near Disneyland.

Country Family Cafe serves traditional American and Mexican breakfast dishes.

This extensive array of morning meal options includes combos, traditional breakfast platters, scrambles, breakfast burritos, and more.

There is also a long list of stuffed omelets and chilaquiles with prices ranging from $7-$10.50.

This breakfast place is located on Euclid, and Katella, which means you have closer access to Mickey and Friends parking on Disneyland Drive. If you are walking this can be tricky and will lead you to the Grand Californian or the Paradise Pier Hotel as your access point to Disneyland.

However you plan it, it’s worth it for the great value. Most items are under $10.
