Brewing Magic: A Coffee Lover’s Guide to the Disney Treasure

Sharing is caring!

If you’re a coffee enthusiast setting sail on the Disney Treasure Cruise, you’re in for a treat!

The Disney Treasure boasts an impressive variety of coffee options, with six unique locations offering specialty brews.

Whether you’re after a morning cappuccino, an afternoon energy boost, or a peaceful corner to unwind, this guide will point you to the perfect cup of coffee onboard.

Just remember, specialty coffees like lattes and teas come at an additional cost and aren’t included in your cruise fare.

But honestly, who could resist not only delicious coffee but also those charming Disney character designs on top?

If you’re on the hunt for free coffee, you can grab some at the drink station on Deck 11 near Festival of Foods, enjoy regular coffee with your meals, help yourself from the self service station at Marceline Market, or have it brought to your stateroom through room service.

However, if specialty drinks are more your style, here’s where you can find coffee on the Disney Treasure!

1. Cove Cafe

  • Location: Deck 13, Adult-Only Section
  • Theme: Inspired by Moana, with oceanic and Polynesian Princess details.

Cove Cafe is a staple on all Disney Cruise Line ships, and the Disney Treasure version is no exception. Located in the adult-only section on Deck 13, this coffee shop is perfect for those looking to relax and unwind.

You can enjoy specialty coffees like lattes and cappuccinos all day. This is a great spot for adults to enjoy a peaceful coffee break away from the hustle and bustle of the ship.

Hours do vary but on embarkation day Cove Cafe is usually open from 12 pm to 8 pm. On other days it is open 6.30 am to 8 pm.

2. Hei-Hei Cafe

  • Location: Deck 4, near the main staircase

Conveniently located on Deck 4, Hei-Hei Cafe is an ideal spot for grabbing a quick coffee, but if you wish to stay to enjoy your drink then there is bar and a small amount of lounge seating.

This cafe serves specialty coffees. If you’re looking for a quick and easy way to grab a coffee without trekking up to Deck 13, Hei Hei Cafe is a fantastic option.

3. Jade Cricket Cafe

  • Location: Deck 5

There really isn’t much difference between this and the Hei Hei except the location, except the aesthetic and design of the bar and seating area.

4. Marceline Market Coffee Station

  • Location: Inside Marceline Market on Deck 11

For those who want coffee with a side of breakfast or lunch, head to the coffee station inside Marceline Market on Deck 11.

Open only during Marceline Market hours, this station is situated between the two sides of the dining area and can be easy to miss.

Whether you’re grabbing a latte to complement your meal or just stopping by for a quick caffeine fix, Marceline Market is a convenient choice.

5. Skipper Society

  • Location: Deck 3, near the Grand Hall
  • Theme: The Jungle Cruise-themed lounge

Now you can experience this Jungle Cruise themed bar and enjoy some innovative new beverages created just for this venue.

And if you are hungry (like that is possible on a Disney Cruise) then you can even indulge in a freshly cooked waffle.

6. The Lookout

  • Location: Deck 11, part of the Festival of Foods lineup

The Lookout is primarily a bar located on Deck 11 as part of the Festival of Foods area. However, it also serves a limited selection of lattes!

While this is a great spot for an afternoon or evening coffee, it’s typically not open in the morning.

If you’re looking for coffee early in the day, one of the other five locations will be a better option. But for a late-day caffeine boost or a specialty coffee alongside other treats, The Lookout is worth checking out.

Room Service

Why not have the coffee brought to you?

Room Service is available 24 hours a day on your Disney Cruise. You can order regular coffee and this is included in your cruise fare.

One thing I always do is order coffee late at night to keep for the following morning. It stays hot so you can enjoy it in the morning when you wake up.

You can even have specialty coffee brought your your stateroom. There is a charge for this, but it is a great option if you want to treat yourself to a fabulous coffee in your stateroom.

And Don’t Forget

When you buy your first specialty coffee make sure that you ask for a coffee card. Each time you purchase a specialty coffee your barista will stamp the card for you. When you have 5 stamps you will get your sixth one for free!

You have probably seen all those pictures of coffee with Disney characters on social media.

Yes, as part of the Disney magic, well a machine does it but that’s not the point, you can have a Disney character on your favorite coffee.

You can ask the barista for your favorite, or leave the choice up to them.

With six unique locations serving specialty coffee, the Disney Treasure has something for every coffee lover.

From the tranquil Cove Cafe to the vibrant Skipper Society, the Disney Treasure has no shortage of spots to grab your favorite coffee.

Whether it’s a morning latte to kickstart your day or a mid-afternoon pick-me-up, there are plenty of options to satisfy your caffeine cravings.

So, take some time to explore the ship, sample a variety of locations, and make the most of your coffee adventures aboard the Disney Treasure!
