There is nothing quite like ordering Room Service on a Disney Cruise. And the huge bonus is that most of it is completely free of charge.
No matter what type of stateroom that you have, you can order Room Service 24 hours a day.
I admit that on my first Disney Cruises I didn’t even think to order Room Service. It had just bypassed me that it was a thing.
But as soon as I discovered this included perk I have made sure that it is a part of my cruise experience. There is nothing quite like enjoying room service, particularly if you have a balcony stateroom. Sit back and watch the sunset (or even the sunrise) and enjoy the peace and quiet.
Let’s have a look at what is available, including the breakfast menu.
Appetizers Soups and Salads
All Hands on Deck – a special selection of international cheeses served with crackers featuring Mini Babybel Snack Cheese
This is a great choice for Sailaway from the ports. Pour a glass of wine and enjoy this cheese and fruit plate while you sail away.
If you never order anything else, just make sure you try All Hands on Deck!

Mixed Garden Salad – mixed leaves with tomatoes, cucumber, carrot, peppers, and red onions with a choice of dressings (ranch, raspberry, Italian, or balsamic)
Arugula and Romaine Lettuce Salad – with yellow and red grape tomatoes, bocconcini, balsamic dressing
Grilled Salmon Salad – Crisp romaine and iceberg lettuce, cherry tomatoes, Vidalia onions, cucumber, apple-cranberry kasha, and a honey-dijon dressing (gluten and dairy free)
Cream of Tomato Soup – with toasted grilled Wisconsin cheddar cheese sandwich
Chicken Noodle Soup – clear chicken broth, with pulled chicken, egg noodles, carrots, celery, leek, and thyme. Served with sourdough baguette (Dairy Free)
All-American Fare
Buffalo Chicken Wings – with celery and carrots. Choice of Blue Cheese or Ranch Dip.
Crisp Breaded Chicken Tenders – with french fries and barbecue sauce
Crisp Plant-based Chicken Sandwich – on a soft toasted bun, dill pickle, shaved iceberg lettuce, Vidalia onions, plant-based garlic aioli, and sweet potato fries
The Plant Based Chicken Sandwich is really tasty. Sweet potato fries are not really my thing – I should have remembered to substitute regular fries.

Grilled Angus American Cheeseburger – on a toasted brioche bun with shaved iceberg lettuce, Vidalia onions, tomato, dill pickle, and french fries
Flatbreads and Pasta
Penne Bolognaise – penne pasta tossed in a rich bolognese sauce with grated parmesan Reggiano cheese and garlic crostini
*New Lamb and Beef Pide Flatbread Crust Baked with Ground Lamb and Beef blended with Peppers, Tomatoes, and Cilantro
*New Spinach and Feta Pide Flatbread Crust Baked with Mozzarella, Baby Spinach, Vidalia Onions, Feta Cheese, and Roasted Cherry Tomato
I admit before I ordered a Pide on a Disney Cruise I had no idea what it was. DCL used to have pizzas on the Room Service Menu but for some reason changed this to Pides.
The difference? The Pide is more like a flatbread and also is a bit smaller. This is the Spinach and Feta Pide and it was really good.
The Tomato Soup and Grilled Cheese is one of my favorites too.

Disney Room Service Desserts
New York Cheesecake – raspberry ganache, fresh whipped cream
Chocolate Truffle Cake – chocolate brownie, truffle mousse, Nutella
Chocolate Chip Cookie – baked daily
You can also order a Mickey Bar and a dessert of the day. There is nothing quite like a Mickey Bar!

Another favorite to order is Milk and Cookies in the evening. Such a treat when you get back to your stateroom in the evening – or whatever time of the day you want it, as it’s available 24 hours.

Room Service Breakfast
There is nothing quite like enjoying a Room Service Breakfast in your stateroom on a Disney Cruise.
Particularly if you have a balcony stateroom. It is a great start to the morning to enjoy coffee on the balcony.
If you are a very early riser one of the most magical things to do is to watch the sunrise over the ocean. I enjoy doing this when I am sailing on a Disney cruise – it is one of the most peaceful times of the day.
If you have an early morning port activity a Room Service Breakfast can save you some valuable time so you can sleep in for just a little bit longer.
If you want to place an order for breakfast in your stateroom then just fill out the form below and make sure you hand it on your stateroom door before 3 am.
Can’t find the form? It is in your desk drawer. If you can’t find it you can always ask your Stateroom Host for more.

Is Room Service Free?
There is no charge for most room service items on a Disney cruise. There are no items on the breakfast menu that you are charged for.
However, you should always tip the Server who brings your order. You can either do this in cash, or you can tip by adding it to your account by filling in the slip that your server will give you.
It is customary to tip at least $1 per plate.
I tend to tip in cash so always keep some dollar bills in the drawer near the door.
What if I Want a Cooked Breakfast?
There are no cooked items on the breakfast room service menu so you will have to venture out of your room if you want something more than the continental items offered.
You have a choice of the Cabanas buffet on Disney Dream, Fantasy, Magic, and Wonder. Disney Wish and Disney Treasure (and soon Destiny) have Marceline Market.
Or you could have a sit-down serve restaurant breakfast in one of the main dining rooms.
If you just want a specialty coffee and some pastries the the Cove Cafe, which is for adults only, is also an option.
