Disney Cruise Cancellations – What Do I Do Now?

Disney Cruise Line is offering guests the choice of a 125% future cruise credit to be used for a future sailing within 15 months of their original sail date, or a full refund. The Future Cruise Credit is only valid for sailings departing within 15 months of the original sailing. The original reservation must be paid in full to be eligible for the Future Cruise Credit.

This means that if you cancel prior to Disney canceling you are not eligible for the 125% Future Cruise Credit. The FCC is applied per person and is non-transferable, non-refundable and has no cash value and may be divided across multiple sailings.

Standard cancellation policies and terms and conditions apply to future sailings. Guests who previously received an FCC are not eligible for an additional FCC.

If your future sailing costs more than your FCC you will be responsible for the balance. If it costs less then any excess will be applied as an On-Board Credit. When you rebook your cruise using your FCC you will pay the standard rate at the time that you rebook.

We have no way of predicting how prices for Disney Cruises will change in the coming months, so it may be that they become more expensive, or even that they are reduced. Guests who booked their reservation through a travel agent should contact them directly with any questions. If you booked directly with Disney Cruise Line you should call  (866) 325-6685 or (407) 566-7797.

This is the email from Disney Cruise Lines:

Dear GUEST, All of us at Disney Cruise Line hope you and your family are staying well. While COVID-19 continues to impact all our lives, we are inspired daily by the stories of care, compassion and resilience around the globe. As you may be aware, the Canadian government recently extended its decision to not allow cruise ships to dock in any Canadian port until October 31. As a result, it is necessary to cancel your sailing. In light of this cancellation, we are offering you the choice of a 125% future cruise credit to be used for a future sailing prior to March 31, 2022, or a full refund. The credit has been automatically added to your account. You may place a reservation on hold by applying it as a payment option when booking a new reservation online. If you prefer to speak to someone directly, please contact a member of our reservation team at 1-866-325-6685 or 407-566-7797. Thank you for your patience and understanding. We look forward to welcoming you aboard as soon as we can and making magic for you and your loved ones.

Sincerely, The Cast and Crew Disney Cruise Line
