Great news! Fish Extenders are back!
Ever since Disney Cruise Lines resumed sailings the following had been on the website on the Know Before You Go Section
“Hanging Gift Bags on Stateroom Doors (Fish Extenders)
Door-to-door gift exchanges (via Fish extenders) among guests are not permitted at this time”.
However, on 14 April 2022, this section was removed from the Disney website.
So those of you who love taking part in the Fish Extender Exchanges can go ahead!
What Are Fish Extenders?
For those of you new to Disney Cruise Lines you may be wondering what exactly is a Fish Extender?
It is a name given to a gift exchange group that leaves a special bag on the fish extender hook outside their Disney Cruise Stateroom door.
Each member of the Fish Extender Group takes a small gift for other members of the group and leaves it in the Fish Extender outside the stateroom.
The Fish Extender Group for your sailing can be found on DisBoards or Facebook by searching the name of the ship and the date of your cruise.

The disboard link no longer works. I would love to join a fish extender group for a July 30 Fantasy tour but can’t find one on Facebook either.
