The Disney Wish is now launched and sailing 3 and 4-night itineraries from Port Canaveral Florida.
She is the first new Disney Cruise ship to sail since the Disney Fantasy, and that was more than a decade ago.
That was a long wait for Disney Cruise line fans!
The demand for Disney Wish sailings is high. And it is likely to get even higher. Concierge staterooms on the Disney Wish sell out particularly quickly.
When the first Disney Wish cruises were offered for sale the Maiden Voyage sold out within days to Platinum Castaway Club Members.

How To Book a Cruise on the Disney Wish for Fall 2022

It is likely that all dates for Fall 2022 for the Disney Wish cruises will sell out.
Unlike some other cruise lines, it is very rare for Disney to offer discounted last-minute rates.
It is highly unlikely that any discounted rates will be offered for the Disney Wish for a very considerable time. If you want the best rates your best bet is to book as early as you possibly can.
For the Wish Cruise Ship Fall 2022 Disney Cruise Lines did what it usually does and gave priority to Castaway Club members.
Booking is now open to all who want to sail on the Disney Wish.
Booking to the general public opened on June 24, 2021. This is what the priority booking schedule looked like:
- Monday, June 21st – Platinum Castaway Club members & Disney’s Golden Oaks residents. Sign in to your account to book online starting at 8:00 AM Eastern Time—or contact your travel agent.
- Monday, June 21st – Disney’s Golden Oaks residents contact Golden Oak Club Member Services.
- Tuesday, June 22nd – Gold Castaway Club members Sign in to your account to book online starting at 8:00 AM Eastern Time—or contact your travel agent.
- Wednesday, June 23rd – Silver Castaway Club members, Adventures by Disney Insiders, and DVC members who have not previously sailed with DCL Sign in to your account to book online starting at 8:00 AM Eastern Time—or contact your travel agent.
- Thursday, June 24th – first-time cruisers were able to book.

How much does a Disney Wish Cruise cost for 2022?
It is important to realize that these rates are subject to change. We check back here pretty often, but rates can and often do change quickly.
I wrote this article originally on 19 June 2021 when prices first came out. You can see how much the cost of a Disney Wish cruise has changed since the first few days the sailings were open.
I have updated this post a number of times so that you can see how the prices for Disney Wish change.
Surprisingly, there hasn’t been much change for the 3-night sailings. It would seem that the 4-night Disney Wish sailings are more popular and therefore have seen the most price increases.
Very surprisingly there are even some price drops from opening day. Very few people would ever have predicted that when these sailings were first available.
These price drops are because there are Guarantee Staterooms Available on the Disney Wish.
These rates are offered when you do not pick a specific stateroom. In return for a discount, you allow Disney to pick the stateroom within a certain category for you.
All of the prices given below are for 2 guests and include taxes and port fees. It is very important to realize that:
- I show Opening Day Prices and then will update prices so that you can see how they are changing over time. They will likely go up – probably by a considerable amount. Just how much will depend upon demand.
- The prices I show for the Disney Wish are the lowest possible prices for that category. For example, an Oceanview Disney Wish Stateroom may start at $3,255 but there will also be higher prices within that category.
- The cost of a Disney Wish concierge stateroom may start at $6,500 for one sailing, but it’s obvious you won’t get the Disney Wish Tower Suite for that!
