Disney Cruise Placeholder Offer Just Got Better — Concierge Discounts and Up to 25% Off Select Sailings Announced!

If you’ve ever taken a Disney Cruise, chances are you’ve heard about the Placeholder Offer — that special perk where you can put a $250 deposit down on a future cruise while you are sailing, and you will get a 10% discount when you book a future cruise within 2 years.

Disney Cruise Line just enhanced the offer in a big way.

Now, for the first time ever, some Concierge Staterooms are included in the discount — plus an expanded list of sailings with savings up to 25% on select dates.

What’s New in the Updated Placeholder Offer

Starting with sailings on or after December 2025, guests who book onboard using a placeholder can:

  • Save 10% on select Concierge Staterooms (categories 02B and below) — brand new!
  • Save 20% or 25% on select sailings (previously 10%)
  • Continue earning all the standard onboard booking perks

This update rewards repeat cruisers — especially those who love the luxury of Concierge-level travel — and offers bigger savings across an impressive lineup of 2026 itineraries.

And what’s even better is that you can combine this offer with Onboard Credit of up to $1000 if you book with The Vacationeer.

Concierge Stateroom Discounts

Guests can now apply the placeholder 10% discount to certain Concierge-level sailings.

There are blockout dates as follows where the offer will not apply:

  • Disney Adventure – None (all Concierge available)
  • Disney Destiny – December 3, 2025 through January 2, 2027
  • Disney Dream – May 2, 2026 through September 14, 2026
  • Disney Fantasy – March 15, 2026
  • Disney Magic – April 5, 2026 and April 25, 2026
  • Disney Treasure – November 29, 2025; December 6, 2025; January 3, 17, March 14, April 4, 11, and 25, 2026
  • Disney Wonder – February 16, March 16, April 24, May 18, 25, June 1, 8, and August 10, 2026

It isn’t surprising to see that Disney Destiny has extensive block out dates for this offer. She has only just launched and it will most likely be some time before we start seeing any offers for this new ship.
