If you’ve ever taken a Disney Cruise, chances are you’ve heard about the Placeholder Offer — that special perk where you can put a $250 deposit down on a future cruise while you are sailing, and you will get a 10% discount when you book a future cruise within 2 years.
Well, great news for returning Disney cruisers:
Disney Cruise Line just enhanced the offer again in a big way.
We first began to see these larger placeholder discounts back in November 2025. Particularly surprising about this was that there were even some Concierge Staterooms included in the discount.
Now in September 2026 we are seeing even more sailings included with an expanded list of sailings with savings up to 25% on select dates.

The Disney Cruise Placeholder Offer
Starting with sailings on or after September 2026, guests who book onboard using a placeholder can:
- Save 10% on select Concierge Staterooms (categories 02B and below) — brand new!
- Save 20% or 25% on select sailings (previously 10%)
- Continue earning all the standard onboard booking perks
This update rewards repeat cruisers — especially those who love the luxury of Concierge-level travel — and offers bigger savings across an impressive lineup of 2026 and 2027itineraries.
And what’s even better is that you can combine this offer with Onboard Credit of up to $1000 if you book with The Vacationeer.

Guests can now apply the placeholder 10% discount to certain Concierge-level sailings.
