Disney Cruise Line has announced a new opportunity to meet the Disney Princesses on board their cruise ships.
In the past there was an event known as the Princess Gathering. This has been paused for some time when the social distancing rules came into effect.
However, DCL has announced the new opportunity for the meet and greet which will be known as the Royal Gathering.
How it works is that you can book a specific time to meet with the Disney Princesses.
You will have to get a ticket to do this. Most guests can book 30 days before their cruise. Concierge guests will have the opportunity to pre-book approximately 35-40 days prior to sailing.
This starts in mid-July 2022..
You can never guarantee which Disney Princess you will meet. In the past these a selection of these Disney Princesses has appeared to this separately ticketed event.
- Ariel from The Little Mermaid
- Aurora from Sleeping Beauty
- Belle from Beauty and the Beast
- Cinderella
- Rapunzel from Tangled
- Snow White
- Tiana from Princess and the Frog
If the Royal Gathering is like the Princess Gathering you will be given a time and place to meet the Princesses.
In the past this did not include the opportunity to meet Princess Anna and Queen Elsa. They had their own separate meet and greet which was also a separately ticketed event.
The Royal Gathering is free.
Not to be confused with the Disney Cruise Royal Court Tea which costs $210 for children and $69 for adults (price correct in June 2022). This is a separate event which includes food, gifts and much more individual time with the Disney Princesses.
