John Lasster has made a very special video inviting you to cruise on the Disney Wonder for the very first Disney Pixar Cruises. Just 4 sailings in September and October 2012 will be the very special Disney Pixar themed cruises
The Disney Wonder sails out of Los Angeles on Sept. 16, Sept. 23, Sept. 30 and Oct. 7 2012. I have sailed on the Disney Wonder many times and when I think about it now there really was rather a lack of Pixar characters on board. There are certainly plenty of Disney characters to be found on a Disney cruise but the most easily found are the traditional favorites such as Mickey and Minnie and of course a whole lot of Princesses! It will be great to see the Pixar characters on the cruise (yes we booked it)!
But it isn’t just the Pixar characters who will be on board. We are promised that there will also be some people from Pixar Studios. We are really looking forward to the promised presentations by the Pixar team.
All of the Pixar movies will be shown, including the shorts. And Finding Nemo 3D will premiere on board the ship. The Disney Wonder already has the stage show each sailing, Toy Story The Musical (actually my least favorite show but definitely more than worth a look).
The Disney Pixar cruise itinerary is:
Sunday Los Angeles, CA
Monday At Sea
Tuesday San Francisco, CA
Wednesday San Francisco, CA
Thursday At Sea
Friday San Diego, CA
Saturday Ensenada, Mexico
Sunday Los Angeles, CA
We are particularly looking forward to the over night stay in San Francisco as this will give us a great chance to explore this magical city. Arriving and seeing the Golden Gate Bridge should also be a highlight.
Want to sail on the Disney Pixar Cruise? Rates start at just $599* per person, based on double occupancy, in an Inside Stateroom with Restrictions onboard the Disney Wonder®. Government Taxes and Fees are not included.
