If you are staying at a Disney Deluxe Resort, Deluxe Villa, or one of the select eligible hotels at Walt Disney World, the latest Extended Evening Hours dates for May, June and early July 2026 are now available.
This is one of the best perks for guests staying at eligible resorts because it gives you extra time in the parks after regular closing — often with lower wait times for some of the most popular attractions.

And if you plan it well, this perk alone can add a lot of value to your stay.
What Are Extended Evening Hours?
Extended Evening Hours are a special benefit for guests staying at:
- Disney Deluxe Resorts
- Disney Deluxe Villas
- select additional hotels including:
- Walt Disney World Swan
- Walt Disney World Dolphin
- Walt Disney World Swan Reserve
- Shades of Green
This offering replaced the old evening Extra Magic Hours and is only available on certain nights at certain parks.
You do still need valid park admission, and in some cases a park reservation may be required depending on your ticket type.

Which Parks Are Included?
The parks currently scheduled for Extended Evening Hours include:
- Magic Kingdom
- EPCOT
- Hollywood Studios
- Animal Kingdom
Not every park appears every week, and the schedule can shift depending on the season.
One thing worth noting is that Magic Kingdom and EPCOT appear most often in the currently published schedule, with Hollywood Studios and Animal Kingdom appearing more selectively.
Attractions Usually Available During Extended Evening Hours
One of the biggest reasons this perk matters is that some major attractions are usually included.
At Magic Kingdom, attractions can include:
- Seven Dwarfs Mine Train
- Space Mountain
- Peter Pan’s Flight
- Big Thunder Mountain Railroad
- Haunted Mansion
- Pirates of the Caribbean
At EPCOT, available attractions can include:
- Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind
- Frozen Ever After
- Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure
- Soarin’
- Test Track
- Spaceship Earth
At Hollywood Studios, attractions can include:
- Slinky Dog Dash
- Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway

- Tower of Terror
- Toy Story Mania
At Animal Kingdom, attractions can include:
- Avatar Flight of Passage
- Na’vi River Journey
- Expedition Everest
- DINOSAUR
- Zootopia: Better Zoogether!
As always, attractions are subject to change and not everything will necessarily be operating.
Is It Worth Booking a Deluxe Resort for This?
That really depends on how you tour.
If you love late nights in the parks and want a chance to ride some headliners with lower waits, Extended Evening Hours can be a very valuable perk.
This can be especially true at:
- Magic Kingdom
- EPCOT
Those are the parks where many guests feel they get the most benefit from the extra time.
For some guests, this perk can help justify the extra cost of staying at a Deluxe resort — particularly if you plan your park days around it.
Extended Evening Hours remain one of the strongest on-site benefits at Walt Disney World for eligible hotel guests.
If you are already staying at a Deluxe Resort or eligible hotel, it is well worth checking the calendar before your trip so you can make the most of it.
And if you are deciding where to stay, this is definitely one of the perks that should be part of the calculation.
The key is not just having access to Extended Evening Hours — it is actually planning your park days around them so you get the biggest benefit.
If more dates are added for July 2026 and beyond, I would expect the schedule to continue updating.
