Disneyland Ride and Attraction Closures September 2015
Haunted Mansion will be closed from 24th August and will reopen on 11th September in time for the start of the Halloween celebrations in Disneyland Park. The Haunted Mansion is transformed each year into the amazingly spooky Nightmare Before Christmas theme.
Innoventions is still closed and will remain so until 1st October 2015.
Disney’s California Adventure Park Ride and Attraction Closures September 2015
Walt Disney Imagineering Blue Sky Cellar remains closed until 3rd October.
The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror will be closed from 31st August until 4th September.
As you will see there are not many scheduled closures in September for Disneyland and California Adventure. The second two weeks of September are usually great weeks to visit the Disney parks as crowds are lighter and the weather is likely to be cooler than the hot summer months of July and August.
Remember that you cannot avoid unscheduled closures of attractions. Some rides, for example Tower of Terror, Space Mountain and Radiator Springs Racers experience downtime due to ‘technical difficulties’ frequently. Usually these temporary stoppages do not last for long and you can still enjoy the attraction later in the day.
