Epcot Restaurant Marrakesh in World Showcase is one of our favorite places to dine in Disney World. However, it is one of the most overlooked restaurants.
The reason for this is probably two-fold. The location is rather hidden. Also, guests think that the menu will be a little unusual for their taste. Our advice is to give it a try and you won’t regret dining at this Epcot hidden gem of a restaurant.
Epcot Restaurant Marrakesh
This Epcot Restaurant Marrakesh review has prices that are correct as at May 2020. We originally wrote this article some time ago and were surprised to notice how little prices have increased at Restaurant Marrakesh.
Most Epcot restaurant prices have increased a lot in the last 5 or so years. Not so Restaurant Marrakesh. We think this is a great reason to make sure you at least give it a try on your next visit to Epcot.

Epcot Restaurant Marrakesh is located in the Morocco Pavillion of World Showcase. The location is a little out of the way as it is hidden at the very back of the Morocco Pavilion.
This is a place where few visitors actually walk around, but really should to see the beautiful small courtyard area. There is a podium located at the front of the Pavillion where a menu is shown.
As the food is unfamiliar to some guests the Restaurant Marrakesh Epcot Menu has photos to show what the food looks like. This Epcot restaurant is also unusual as it has different pricing for some menu items for lunch and dinner. Restaurant Marrakesh is one of the best value of the Disney Epcot Restaurants.
Restaurant Marrakesh is probably the most overlooked of all of the Epcot Restaurants. It’s location at the back of the Morrocco Pavilion really doesn’t help. You can easily visit the Morocco Pavilion and still miss where the restaurant is.
However, this isn’t the whole explanation. Le Cellier is pretty easy to miss and that doesn’t prevent it from being the most popular Epcot Restaurant.
The reason is most likely the food.
It can sometimes be tempting to stick with what you know and Moroccan food is not on everyone’s radar. However, we really suggest you give this place a try. The food is not overly spicy and the atmosphere inside really is worth experiencing.
The one area in which the menu is rather lacking is in vegetarian options as really the only option is the Vegetable Couscous. The different menu options may be a little too exotic for children, but of course, as with all Disney World restaurants, there is a children’s menu available with the usual favorites available.
One of the things that makes Restaurant Marrakesh special is the entertainment. There is belly dancing, and if you are really bold you can even join in!
There is also live music which really adds to the enjoyment of the experience. The atmosphere and decor of the restaurant are very welcoming.
