It is almost time for Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party 2013 at Walt Disney World to start. Events and special decorations are in the parks for Halloween from 10th September until 1st November 2013 so be sure to check out the spooky happenings in Disney World this year!
All of the parks have special decorations, character costumes and merchandise for Halloween but perhaps the best known of all of the events is Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party. This is held every year in Disney’s Magic Kingdom on select nights.

Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party is what is known as a separately ticketed event. In other words even if you have a Magic Your Way Ticket of any type you still need to buy a separate Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party event ticket.

Special Events At Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party
There is a special parade (watch out for the Headless Horseman) and this is shown at 8:15 pm and 10:30 pm. The later parade is usually much less crowded than the first.
The special Happy HalloWishes Fireworks: Grim Grinning Ghosts Come Out to Socialize Fireworks are at 9:30 pm. This is one of the very best of all of the Disney fireworks shows.
As you would expect at Halloween there are special Trick or Treating events. This is a great time to see the Disney Villains characters too.
Is Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party 2013 worth the extra money? We believe that it is for the extra entertainment which you can’t see any other way. If you go expecting the lines to be shorter than usual then you may very well be disappointed. They sell a lot of tickets on most nights (particularly of course Halloween night itself). With that said we think it is worth going to Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party at least once for the experience.
Happy Halloween!
