Have you seen Pixar Play Parade at Disney’s California Adventure? I watched it at the weekend and once again realized that it is one of my favorite Disney parades. Of course it helps that I am Pixar obsessed but The Pixar Play Parade really is a whole lot of fun to watch.

Where are the best places to view the Disney Pixar Play Parade? One of my favorite places is at the start of the parade close to the Tower of Terror. The advantage is that you see the start of the Parade and can then cut through Bugs Land to beat most of the crowds.
Another prime viewing spot for the Pixar Parade is at the Mendocino seating terrace at the Golden Vine Winery. Sit and enjoy a glass of wine on the seating terrace – but you do have to snag your place well before the parade starts.
Really there are many great spots to view the Pixar Play Parade. Crowds don’t seem as huge to watch this as in Disneyland Park so even if you don’t get your place early you can often sell have a decent view as there aren’t too many people in front of you.
The Pixar Play Parade starts at Disney’s Twilight Zone Tower of Terror and finishes around the Silly Symphony Swings in Paradise Pier. It takes about 15 minutes for the Parade to finish so if you are waiting at the other end just remember to factor this in.
In the summer months the Pixar Parade does squirt water so beware if you have any cameras or phones – they may get wet.
Remember too that if you want to ride on Radiator Springs Racers it may be a good idea to head on over there during the Pixar Play Parade if you have already seen it or it just isn’t your thing. The line for Radiator Springs Racers regularly gets to 120 minutes but during the Parade and World of Color the line thins out a little as people go and watch these events.
