Sanaa Kuamasha Breakfast
Disney World has been introducing some interesting new breakfast options recently. The latest is the Sanaa Kuamasha Breakfast at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge.
Sanaa is one of our all-time favorite Walt Disney World restaurants. The location really is one of the best on all of Walt Disney World property.
It is located at Kidani Village in Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge Resort, so it is a little out of the way for visitors. However, we feel it is certainly worth the trek.
The reason? You get an amazing view of Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge savannah from the restaurant. The food is pretty consistently great too.
The new Kuamsha Breakfast will be served every day from 7 am until 10 am. The style will be quick service dining. As with all of the Animal Kingdom Lodge restaurants the style is described as “flavours with an African flair”. Guests will order their food at the counter and then choose a table. Those window seats are bound to be the most popular so that you can watch a giraffe walking by whilst you enjoy your breakfast.
If you enjoy waffles you will want to try the Safari Waffle. This has seasonal berries and is topped with Chai whipped cream. Ir perhaps you would prefer the Boere Breakfast. This has two eggs, Tanzanian hash browns, Boerewars sausage, and a Johnny Cake. This is served with the delicious tomato chutney which is a feature of the Indian Bread service.
There is even a creative option for vegan diners. The Fruit Sosatie which is a dried fruit salad served with quinoa.
Disney World is not generally known for its great coffee, but the press pot served at Sanaa is an exception. The usual favorites of juice, soda, and tea are also available.
If you just want a quick breakfast stop there are some Grab ‘n’ Go favorites. A very tempting option is the banana bread with house-made African chocolate hazelnut spread. There are the usual favorites of parfait, pasties, and fruit.
