Disney fans are eagerly awaiting the opening of the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train Ride in Disney’s Magic Kingdom New Fantasyland. Still no details on when the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train Ride will actually open but here is a great video which shows the process of designing and painting the vehicles for this attraction.
Watch as Imagineers Ben VanBeusekon and Mary MacEachin reveal more details about the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train attraction:
As always the attention to detail on the ride looks amazing. The Seven Dwarfs Mine Train Ride vehicles may take up to a week to paint. Each vehicle on the ride is slightly different – just as it would be on a real mine train.
The Seven Dwarfs Mine Train Ride is going to be a very different experience as the vehicles move back and forth as they move forward. All adding to the authenticity of the ride.
“The authenticity in a ride car is absolutely crucial in the storytelling. In order to immerse the guests into the story and actually have them believe that they are in the mine train with Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, it has to be right down to the detail.” said Van Beusekon
The ride with be a family attraction rather than a scary thrill ride. Something less intense than Disney’s Big Thunder Mountain Railroad. The Seven Dwarfs Mine Train will run outside and then go inside through the mine tunnels. The attraction looks amazing from the video.
I just wish that they would announce the date for the opening of the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train!
