Universal to Offer Credit Card with Theme Park Perks

Sharing is caring!

Universal Studios has announced that it is diving into the credit card space with its own card being launched in early 2024.

The Universal Rewards Plus Visa Signature Card will be issued by FNBO (First National Bank of Omaha).

No details yet about what the perks will be, but the Universal Visa card is likely to offer discounts on experiences, food and beverages.

It would be a great benefit if the card also offered discounts on the Universal Hotels such as the Portofino Resort.

It is likely that the Universal Studios Card will follow the same model as the Disney Visa card which offers select discounts, and a limited number of exclusive perks.

In recent years, Universal has given far more benefits and perks to its annual pass holders than Disney so I am hoping that the Visa credit card will also offer more than just the occasional discount than the Disney credit card ever has.

A nice perk would be a Card holder lounge. There is already a Passholder Lounge in Universal Islands of Adventure.

It is limited in size and has few benefits, except the exclusive merchandise that you find there, but it was certainly a nice space to have in the summer when the heat was often over 100 degrees.

New details of the exact benefits and terms attached to the Universal Visa card will be released soon.

What would you like to see as the perks?
