How To Qualify For A Disney Cruise Florida Resident Discount
Who can get a Disney Cruise Florida discount rate and what proof do you need of residency?
Only one adult in each stateroom has to be a Florida resident. When you book a Florida discount rate on Disney cruise lines you have to provide proof of residency within 48 hours of booking.
If you don’t do this the cruise will be canceled and you will be charged cancellation fees. Make sure you have your verification or this could be very costly.
Depending on when you book you could be looking at a 100% cancellation rate.

Required Documentation
Proof of Florida Residency for at least one adult must be shown at the time of check-in.
Guests who are unable to show proper proof of Florida residency will have their Disney Cruise re-priced and paid before being allowed to sail. Valid proof of Florida Residency at the time of sailing include:
- Florida Identification Card
- Florida Driver’s License

Residency Verification Process
If you do not have one of the Florida IDs listed above, you must present one of the following requirements dated at least 2 months prior.
These should verify your name and Florida residential address, along with a corresponding government-issued photo ID (passport, state identification card, passport).
- Mail from a city, county, state, or federal government agency
- Mail from a financial institution (savings, checking, or investment account statements)
- Current utility bill (water, power, phone, or cable)
- Current homeowner’s insurance policy/bill
- Current insurance policy/bill, or automobile registration
- Renter’s lease agreement
- Monthly mortgage statement
Disney Cruise Florida Resident Discount – Proof Needed
Note that property deeds and P.O. boxes will not be considered valid proofs of residency. Children’s states are also available to guests from ages 3 to 12 who are traveling with 2 adults in the same stateroom.
Prices also exclude government taxes, fees, and Disney Cruise Gratuities. Keep in mind that all of the discounts are limited to 50 staterooms per sailing and are for Category 7A staterooms unless otherwise stated.
Lastly, this offer cannot be combined with any other special discounts and is valid for both new and existing reservations.
