The scenery on an Alaskan cruise is not something that you will ever forget – it is quite unlike any other place in the world. The Disney Wonder has 3 port stops – Skagway, Juneau and Ketchikan. There is also plenty of time to enjoy the scenery from the comfort of the DIsney Wonder will a day in the spectacular Tracy Arm and 2 days at sea. The Disney Wonder spends a full day in Tracy Arm so you will get plenty of time to experience this amazing place. Many other itineraries combine Tracy Arm with a port stop but Disney Wonder takes it’s time to explore!
There are lots of different shore excursions for you to choose from on your Disney Alaskan cruise. One of the most popular is the spectacular train journey on the White Pass and Yukon Route Railroad. In port adventures range from salmon bakes to dog sledding – you are sure to find something for everyone to enjoy. Whale watching excursions are also very popular, and you may even be able to see the whales from the ship. One evening we sat on the balcony before dinner watching dolphins alongside the ship – an amazing sight.
Why cruise on the Disney Wonder? This Disney ship has something for all members of the family. The high quality of service and of course the very special Disney magic makes this a great choice for your Alaskan cruise. The Disney Wonder is our favorite of all the Disney ships and the Alaskan itinerary is amazing.
