The time is almost here!
The Disney Destiny will sail her maiden voyage from Port Everglades in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, on Nov. 20, 2025.
Wondering which of Disney’s private islands Destiny will visit? Both!
The 4 Night Maiden Voyage will call at both of Disney Cruise Line’s island destinations in The Bahamas – Disney Castaway Cay and Disney Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point!

The maiden voyage will be followed by an inaugural season of four- and five-night cruises to The Bahamas and Western Caribbean.
Every sailing will include a day of fun in the sun at either Disney Castaway Cay or Disney Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point — some itineraries will even visit both! — and select cruises will feature more sun-soaked relaxation and warm-weather adventure in Nassau, Bahamas, or Cozumel, Mexico.
Whilst Disney Destiny is going to be the same basic design as her sister ships Disney Wish and Disney Treasure, she is going to have a number of very different themes, restaurants and bars.
One of the most highly anticipated is the Cask and Canon which is inspired by the much-loved theme park ride and movie franchise of “Pirates of the Caribbean”.
No doubt there will be some impressively themed drinks as we are promised that there will be
“an extensive menu of rare, specialty and vintage rums that would impress even the most seasoned swashbucklers. There will also be a not-so-secret selection of “bootlegged” brews developed specially for the venue and served straight from the barrel in true pirate style”.
Another more intriguing statement is that there will be a “mysterious trove of looted libations served in an actual treasure chest”.
Whilst the servings from the bar sound interesting, I am not sure how impressed I am with the overall look of the Cask and Canyon.
Maybe these artists impressions do not capture just how much attention to detail there is going to be here, but on a first look I am not that excited.
Now what certainly does look as though it will be amazing is Haunted Mansion Parlor, the much anticipated themed bar which will make it’s debut on Disney Treasure and will also be on Disney Destiny.

There are so many new and exciting features coming to Disney Destiny.
The overarching theme and inspiration for the ship is heroes and villans.
One of the most anticipated new features is Pride Lands: Feast of the Lion King.
Inspired by the iconic movie The Lion King, this will be in the space where Arendelle: A Frozen Dining Experience is on Disney Wish.
Another new bar on Disney Destiny is the Cruella de Vil inspired lounge De Vil’s.
This themed bar looks as though it is going to be fabulous – but strangely the decision has been made to have this open on one side to The Grand Hall.
Not sure how this is going to work out, as one of the criticisms of the design of Disney Wish is that the bars are too open and many people do not like the fact that there is a stream of foot traffic going past you whilst trying to enjoy a beverage!
But the concept art looks amazing.
The new Disney Destiny will also feature:
- “Disney Hercules,” an all-new, Broadway-style show retelling the popular Disney Animation film
- Edna Á La Mode Sweets, a one-of-a-kind confectionary inspired by Pixar Animation Studios’ “The Incredibles”
- The Sanctum, Disney Cruise Line’s first lounge inspired by the powerful sorcerers and mystical artifacts of Marvel’s Doctor Strange
- There are new themed staterooms including fabulously themed Hero Suites and a new Incredibles Suite!
