Disney Cruise Line just announced that the date that the Disney Wonder South Pacific and Hawaii Cruises for late 2023 and early 2024 will be delayed.
Castaway Club Members will still get priority booking, but booking will open a week later than the originally stated start date of October 3, 2022.
Booking Begins:
- October 10, 2022: Platinum Castaway Club Members & Golden Oak Members
- October 11, 2022: Gold Castaway Club Members
- October 12, 2022: Silver Castaway Club Members, eligible Disney Vacation Club Members and Adventure Insiders
- October 13, 2022: All Guests
It would seem the delay is due to a couple of factors – overwhelming anticipated demand, and the effects of Hurricane Ian which put even more of a strain on the system as Cast Members were affected by this devastating weather event.

The demand for the Australia and New Zealand cruises that were released earlier this week was huge and potential guests experienced long wait times on the phone the Disney Cruise booking portal was down for a considerable time, particularly once booking opened to the general public.
