Wanting to know how to get from Epcot to Disney Springs?
Here we show you all the different ways to get from Epcot park to the fabulous restaurant and shopping area of Disney Springs.
From the quickest to the most scenic, you have a lot of options!
How to Get from Epcot to Disney Springs
Even though Disney World is a huge area it is easy to get around by using the Disney Transportation System.
One flaw in the system is that Disney Springs has no direct connection from any of the Disney parks, so you do have to be a bit creative. However, there are several options to get to Disney Springs from Epcot.
- Walk to an Epcot Resort Hotel
- Take a Boat to an Epcot Resort Hotel
- Take a Bus to a Disney Resort Hotel
- Take the Skyliner
- Pay for a Ride Sharing Service
Walk to an Epcot Resort Hotel
This is the quickest way if you are close to the International Gateway Entrance of Epcot.
Not everyone realises that there are two entrances to Epcot. Most people enter at the main entrance close to the iconic Spaceship Earth attraction.
However, there is another entrance which is located in the World Showcase part of Epcot, between the United Kingdom Pavillion and France.
This is the easiest Epcot entrance to use if you are staying at any of the Epcot Resort Hotels.
If you want to get to Disney Springs the easiest way is to take the International Gateway Exit and walk past the Skyliner entrance to either Disney’s Boardwalk Resort or the Beach Club Resort.
You will then take a bus to Disney Springs from the Resort Hotel.
There really isn’t much difference in the amount of time that it takes you to walk to either Disney’s Beach Club or Boardwalk Resort.
For the Beach Club you can just carry on walking straight from the Epcot World Showcase exit and you will soon see the distinctive resort on your right.
If you prefer to walk to the Boardwalk just turn left at the fork in the path around the lake.
Take the Boat to an Epcot Resort Hotel
If you don’t want to walk you can take one of the Friendship Boats from the International Gateway entrance to one of the Epcot Resort Hotels.
This will take longer than walking, particularly if you factor in the potential wait times for the boats, but it is a more leisurely way to travel!
You can then take the bus to Disney Springs from either Disney’s Boardwalk Resort or the Beach Club Resort.

Take a Bus to a Disney Resort Hotel
This is a more time consuming way to get to Disney Springs from Epcot but if you are in the former Future World section of the park.
It may take some getting used to but Future World at Epcot has been renamed since 2021. There are now four neighbourhoods in Epcot.
World Showcase remains unchanged, but the former Future World now comprises World Celebration, World Nature, and World Discovery.
If you are in any of these neighbourhoods it may be that it is quicker to exit at the main entrance to Epcot and take a bus to a Disney Resort.
You will then take a Disney Resort bus to Disney Springs.
Take the Disney Skyliner
The Disney Skyliner entrance is conveniently located just to the left of the Epcot International Gateway exit.
The Skyliner is an incredibly efficient and fun way to travel between various hotels, Epcot and Hollywood Studios.
If you take the Skyliner from Epcot here are the Disney hotel resort stops.
- Disneys’ Riviera Resort
- Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort
- Pop Century / Art of Animation
If you are taking the Skyliner from Epcot and want to get to Disney Springs then it is sensible to exit at Riviera Resort as this is the first stop.
Of course if you want to experience more of the Skyliner route then go all the way to Pop Century or Art of Animation.
Pay for a Ride Sharing Service
All of the other ways are free as you are using the Disney Transportation system.
However, if you want to use a ride sharing service, you will be responsible for the costs of this.
The quickest way is to exit at the main entrance to Epcot and walk to the designated Uber and Lyft pickup point.
This is located near the electric car chargers in the second lane of the Journey Parking Lot.
The cost varies but it is usually around $10 to $16.
You can also call a Minnie Van by using the Lyft app and making that section. The pickup is different as this will be at the Epcot bus station location.
A Minnie Van is more expensive – costs vary but will be around the $35 to $45 mark.
For any of these options you can request to be dropped at either the East Pickup or West Pickup at Disney Springs.
To get to Disney Springs using Uber or Lyft, you’ll just need to meet your driver in the designated pickup area, which is the second lane of the Journey Parking Lot (near the electric car chargers).
You’ll then be either dropped off at East Pickup or West Pickup.
You can expect to pay around $9 to $14 using Lyft or Uber.
If you use Minnie Van via the Lyft app, your Epcot pickup location is at the Disney bus station. The Disney Springs drop-off locations remain the same.
You can expect to pay around $30 to $40 in a Minnie Van.
