Disney Cruise Line has just revealed an exciting first look at The Sanctum — their very first lounge inspired by Marvel Studios’ Doctor Strange.
This brand-new venue takes its design cues from Doctor Strange’s iconic New York Sanctum, complete with mystical artifacts and magical details.
Guests will find unique elements like sorcerers’ Rune Shields, the Cloak of Levitation, and spell books from the library of Kamar-Taj.
It’s a space truly inspired by the world of Marvel’s powerful sorcerers.
Located centrally onboard, just off the Grand Hall on Deck 3,The Sanctum will be more than just a stunning lounge. It’s designed to be a hub of entertainment for guests of all ages throughout the voyage.
The Sanctum is located in the same space as the Skipper Society Bar on Disney Treasure, and The Bayou on Disney Wish.
These are both amazingly detailed, themed spaces and it is going to be interesting to see the complete reveal of all the small decor details of The Sanctum.
This location has a very small stage and is used for music events in the evening and trivia throughout the day.
It is located just next to the Haunted Mansion Parlor and a few steps away from De Vil’s Lounge
And the drinks?
They’re a magical experience in themselves! Guests can enjoy a mix of mocktails, cocktails, spirits, and coffees, all presented with a bit of mystic flair.
The reveal gave us a sneak peek of a couple of drinks on the menu:
Circle of the Cosmos – Brunswick Aces Diamonds Gin, verjus blanc, and fresh lemon juice garnished with a lemon peel spiral
From exclusive menu items to tableside drink presentations that feel like they’ve been conjured straight from the multiverse, it’s sure to be a highlight of the cruise.
DCL really upped their game in their creative cocktails starting with Disney Wish
. We can look forward to many new creations on Disney Destiny including Vapors of Valtorr – Grey Goose Altius Vodka, ginger beer, fresh lime juice, and butterfly pea flower syrup topped with berry-flavored bubbles
And did anyone say waffles? Just like Skipper Society and The Bayou, The Sanctum will be serving food at an additional charge.
