Disney Cruise Line Beds
One of the things you really have to experience at least once in a lifetime is sleeping in a Disney Cruise ship bed! They are simply the best.
Most of the Disney Destiny stateroom beds are a Queen (apart from in Concierge when you will have a King).
These Queen beds do not separate into twins as they do on some other cruise lines.
Many of the Disney Dsetiny staterooms sleep up to 4 guests.
There is a sofa bed in all staterooms so that a third guest can be accommodated.
However, if your stateroom sleeps 4 then it will have an upper bunk bed. When you arrive in your stateroom you may wonder where it is! Your stateroom host will pull the bunk down from the ceiling each evening when he makes up your room for the night.
If you have a stateroom sleeping 5 there will be an additional Murphy bed that pulls down from the wall.
Disney Destiny Stateroom Bathrooms
Most of the Disney Destiny staterooms will have the usual split bathroom design which was a Disney Cruise first.
The exception to this is that none of the inside staterooms have the split bathrooms.
A split bathroom means that there are two rooms. One has the toilet and a sink, the other has a bath with a shower over and an additional sink.
All of the bathrooms on the Disney Desting will have a bath. This is great news for everyone, but particularly for those with young children.
The bathrooms are beautifully modern with white subway tile, contemporary fittings, and a fabulous lighted mirror. And a glass door for the shower – no curtains!
